there you can browse the file history and see all the changes and when they were made
if you're paranoid you can study the source code and build the .dll files yourself
someone with reverse engineering experience could also disassemble the precompiled .dll files to check if they have viruses
other people cannot put viruses in it unless you download it from somewhere else or if my accounts get hacked but I try to have pretty good security and use 2FA everywhere
