5 Suggestions
Hello SMD, I hope you're having a fantastic holiday, I'm sure that I can speak for you all when I say that we love having you back. I have a few suggestions for the mod, some of which I'm not sure if it's possible to be made, but I'll still put them in.


1. Smoke grenade:
A grenade where if it detonates, a large light blue (Same as the neon blue in some armors) or white cloud of smoke appears, you can see through the smoke if you're using any visor of the classes. Or not sot see-through if it can't be made.

2. Glider animation:
There's a glider with no cool-looking or anything special animation, it's just like a normal glider, my suggestion is to make it have an animation when you equip it, for example, the glider appearing after a hologram has appeared, forming the glider, or just like the Helicopter's entrance, it comes out of a portal or something. And maybe if it could change the position of the player to a more gliding animation, it's now running in the sky pretty much. Not sure if the gliding animation can be made.

3. Neon:
Some classes, weapons, and vehicles don't have the amazing-looking blue neon. I'm not sure if this was on purpose or not, but please add subtle neon to those who are missing it.

4. Smaller fighter jet:
A small but lethal airplane mounted with 2 of the miniguns that the Juggernaut uses and 2 rocket launchers. This should have the same entrance when you spawn it in as the Helicopter.

5. Vehicle deployment:
So, this first started with the Helicopter if I'm correct, a huge cool-looking plane comes through a portal and appears like a hologram and then disappearing, dropping a huge crate where the helicopter is in. This looked so badass, but, in my opinion, this should be there for every vehicle, but instead of you spawning it in to get the entrance animation, when you get in the vehicle. It comes out of a portal for the air vehicles and forms itself into a hologram just like the huge plane did for the Helicopter. For ground vehicles, it'd be that the vehicle appears like a hologram when you enter the vehicle, forming itself into a solid form. If you exit it, it turns itself back to a hologram form and then disappearing. For both, when it disappears, a small pod which is about the size of your leg in the game appears to know where the vehicle is.


The last one is the toughest one to make I'm pretty sure. But yeah, these are some suggestions stuck in my mind for a while. Welcome back SMD. Have a great day!

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I just saw this.

1. I am unable to change the first person camera of the player, hence I am unable to make it possible for player to see through the smoke

2. Gliding animation cannot be made, animations only seems to affect the hands, the head/legs are not affected. As for the equip animation, I dont know if is worth the effort to make fancy animation for it. Also is kinda hard to animate it properly with my current knowledge.

3. That is intended at first because I was thinking the neon blue will give away the position, hence some armor do not have the glow. I think I will change it to affect everything.

4. The new VTOL seems to fit the role of what you want. Not release yet though.

5. It was my intention to add a entrance animation to all vehicles, but not all of them will have the same one. For example, aircrafts are sent in via the spacecraft while ground vehicle are sent in via a dropship. As for the 2nd part, I dont quite get you. Are you saying that I should make it such that is invisible at first, and appear only the player enter the vehicle?

1 and 2. That's completely understandable, Unturned isn't really that advanced in those terms.

3. Maybe an option to disable the neon? Or perhaps change the color of it as well?

4. Ooh, excited for it. The current VTOL's turrets don't work, it just gives you a lightsaber. Most VTOL's are quite big, the V-22 Osprey for example is pretty big, is it the same for the upcoming VTOL?

5. I meant that if you get out of a ground vehicle, it'd turn invisible, but a small pod would appear which is about the size of your leg, this pod has the blue neon effect and a laser beam that comes out of it so you can still see where the vehicle is. If you enter the vehicle, it'd form itself back into a vehicle shape. Same thing goes for aircrafts, but when you spawn it in, it comes out of a portal and drops onto the ground.
