ok easy way to do it write help aluneth 4, then you can see the ID and use player.additem command

What's weird is this: Fallout 4 and Skyrim are made both by bethesda; In Fallout 4, there is a help command for commands, a spawn command, and the ability to scroll up and down to see more ID's, but in Skyrim, you cannot do the spawn command (have to do placeatme), there is no help command, and you cannot scroll up or down, which makes it harder to find specific ID's.

It's almost as if Skyrim was made before Fallout 4, and as a result Fallout 4 has more features than Skyrim.

you can do all of that in skyrim

Uh, no you can't. I've played the game and used console myself, and when I use commands like spawn, it says it is a unknown command. The same goes for help and all. And you still can't scroll up and down the console, if you've played the game yourself you'd know that.

actually you can, i have done it... type help "item/command" to find the item and or command
to scroll up or down all you gotta do is use the page up or page down on your keyboard

example, help steel, it will pop up a list, all you gotta do is scroll through them using page up and page down

Uhm, I know, I can scroll up and down in fallout 4, and the help command actually works in fallout 4. It just didnt work in skyrim. However:

Thanks for the attempt. The page up/down may work, but the help command has never worked in skyrim, I've personally tried it on my computer. I do have a windows 7 though (and am unable to afford a windows 10; damn you, microsoft, for only working on windows 10.) so if that affects anything, can't do anything myself then.
