Model swap arounds for the rebel and empire ships
Post suggestions for rebel and empire ships not found in this mod but are found in the original that you want to see here.
Bare in mind that they may exist in for nsc ship sizes, so try out nsc first.

Suggestion for the Republic and cis will be deleted.

maybe a suggestion, also for the regular mod with the own ship classes, how about the eclipse as the titan, considering the fact that it already had a superlaser built in it might be a bit more fitting.

i know this wasn't in the original mod but it might be a nice addition to the mod.

Larabee, posted in the main thread before I saw this. I'd love to see the Corellian Corvette switched to be the interceptor and picket ship instead of missle boat. It's already like that with the Rebel shipset but not the Empire one. Maybe even slip in a nebulan B2 into the Empire set as well, maybe in one of the NSC sizes.

So I was bored and figured out how to assign a mesh to various ship sizes and sections. That was fun but the funner part was reworking the Empire set to my liking and sense I did that I thought I'd share with you what I did. I based my decisions on the ships themselves in the SW universe as well as what I think looks cool in certain spots.

Numbers in ( ) after the ship section type is where it falls in the asset file. Some of the ships seem paired with others, because changing one would change them as well. There are also some in the asset files that done have a match in the game. That was the hardest part, or at least the longest part and in some cases I had to change one ship at a time and reload to see if I got it right. I wanted to change some of the carriers around to mix in ISD I and IIs with the Vindi but with 9 ship options and only 6 showin in the asset file... well, I'm tired! As for the change of the science ship. I don't like it as a CR90 if I'm also using it as a military ship. I like the Arquitens looks in that slot and was to replace it in with the broadside. I might do a similar breakdown for the Rebel ships if anyone wants, but it won't be until the weekend because this took nearly 3 hours of work and I don't have it in me during the work week.

For the Empire may i just say all of them ? Like Praetor, secutor, ISD2 Interdictor Star destroyer, executor of course... Dreadnought too. Allegiance. Vigil class corvette

Yeah I just an Empire fan. Rebels only need a jail cell to rot.

I haven't seen Nebulon B Frigates? Anyone else? Just don't see them, semms odd not being able to build them as rebels

EDIT: Hey guys, noticed people referrencing this NSC mod and after testing see that I was seeing way less ships than possible including the Neb B Frigate I menttioned haha sorry, didn't realize some only showed up with NSC

Should always be playing with NSC2. If you don't want to but still want the Nebulon to show up, I can explain how to mod the files for yourself to get the ship breakdown like you want (I did it for the empire for my own tastes, as I mentioned a few posts up. Once you know how, it's really easy to do).

Is it really that good? I've never used it before but some of the hull types seem... SO powerful with all their slots. I hope the AI can make use of them as well otherwise it seems quite op. I love the extra layer of fleet diversity but I just hope it isn't op.

It's on my (and many others) list of core mods. The AI seems to have a good grasp but I've never really gotten past cruisers in my games so I can't say 100%. It adds a lot of other tweaks as well including new buildings for the starbases (as well as letting them have a building slot even as an outpost). A lot of the ship modders or even Captain X3 (maker of NSC) will make com patches to use their sets with NSC.

Doo da dee dumb. Modding is fun. LOL Man I miss doing it but yeah, I've been tinkering lately. Currently working on a merged Republic and Old Republic ship set. Got most of the ships in the order I like and working on sizes now. Larabee, if you get the go ahead for Yorrick to play with his Old Republic, Sith, and Mandalorian sets, let me know and I can send you my merged asset and datafiles... assuming you planned to merge the two republic sets into one.

Now that is dope I've been hoping for Yorricks Old Republic Ships and Old Sith Empire ships to be updated to create a Jedi Civil War scenario! But SWTOR ships would be dope too. If the mandalorian ships of his get updated too we can recreate the Mandalorian Wars! Super excited about the prospect anyway, keep up the good work.

I would suggest maybe making the NSC dreadnoughts the Bellator class SSD and making the flagship the Assertor SSD. Also maybe make the interceptor model for the corvette the tartan cruiser
I would be cool if we could get the Eclipse somehow.
