I can't for the life of me figure out the sequence to recruit King Gurgler.

Glurgle Glurgle...all sorts of other nonsense.

Do I offer Grand fish or thinfish? something else?

Sometimes he says different stuff and there must be a way to figure out the right combo.

I've even tried holding and giving him Gurgler eggs, rotten food, and both types of fish.

its probably just a chance to trigger just like the other recruitable prisoners mod. the character i was using was the whistler from a mod doubt that had anything to do with it

have you tried using the dried fish? the one you can buy from shops.
