Any and All Compatibility Issues
So, many of you had the previous version of this mod from another source. Please check over there where you found it, as it has an update as well.

As for Unrestricted Customization, that mod's inner workings are apparently weird voodoo magic, with few people understanding just what the hell it's doing. Sadly, that means it's not compatible.

Hey, there seems to be a compatibility issue with unrestricted customization. I know for a fact you can use the shoulders for neclaces and jackets but for some reason using UC only allows you to set the right sholder. the left one still "works" but only if the charachter was generated with it.

The mod adds cosmetic items just like any of my previous ones, and it should work no problem. If you're getting these issues, that's UC weird code doing something strange. Even the best code modders out there are stumped and bewildered by what that mod does.

So a majority of the females are showing as invisible. I had assumed that the assets were in the Standard XCOM as I wanted to use this mod with Long War 2- but it only works in WOTC? Or is there something wrong with my install?

Only works with WOTC.

There seems to be only one real issue this mod has with the unrestricted customization mod and that is putting the Belly Ring and Belly Stud into the "Shins" category fore some really odd reason. They don't appear under "Thighs" like the 2 belts which are in the same screenshot.

*I just wanted to note the issue here, if it something that can't be fixed I just live with it.

As far as I understand UC, it deletes duplicate entries, leaving only one instance, and at random. The whole point of this mod is to have the same item in several categories, so the core of what UC does, directly affects the core of what this mod intends to do.

Is there a way to add the duplicates manually while using UC???

Not that I'm aware of, no. But a better question for the UC author.

Please check over there where you found it, as it has an update as well. the update of 2019 ? or ? also can it be that they are in wrong load order at my place and thats why dont work ?
Kexx  [developer] Jun 26, 2020 @ 9:13am
Load order shouldn't matter for these cosmetics. You're gonna have to scroll through the comments section over there to find the links. Yes, I think the latest are from 2019.

I just wanted know if there is a way to turn-off what XCOM does when you research a new armor level. The game seems to randomize everything, forcing you to start customizing all over with each female soldier...

EDIT: This issue has been addressed by Kexx and the community, and multiple solutions are available in the "Yellow Update" dedicated thread. Original comment as follows:

With the recent update (Sept 15, 2020), any female characters I had wearing your mod items prior to the update now appear partially invisible, and no longer even display the option to change clothing items when in the "customize" menu. Like, the "torso", "legs", etc. options are not even available, meaning I cannot swap outfits and armour to try and reapply them. This does not seem to effect female characters that were wearing vanilla clothing prior to the update, only charactes that were wearing clothing from this mod prior to the update. It would be a shame for to have to scrap any existing save in which characters were wearing your items prior to the update.
