To elaborate: I deliberately kept the location vague while creating the map because it did not matter much to me, and because the map would otherwise have taken even longer to complete. Arguments can be made for a variety of locations, and all are fine by me. However, the welcome sign outside the underground base does mention something that should narrow down the possibilities slightly.
