What comes next....
Just wanted to share some info with anyone interested to read regarding my future plans for the mod.

Originally, i envisioned to mod in 6 factions, beyond the 2 already playable i want to put in Romulans, Cardassians, Borg and Dominion. Cannot really promise anything, as its quite a lot of work to do and it can be bit exhausting and repetitive at times, not to mention i have other work to do and life to live, but at the moment i am still hopeful i can do it...we shall see about that.

Anyway, to be more specific about what i intend to do next:


- Romulan faction - with emphasis on stealth and intelligence. Aside of obvious cloaking ability for their ships i want to give them stuff like Cloaked Mines, some kind of cloaked Covert Ops facility, which upon construction would remove fog from major part of the map, if not entirely...
...and then some kind of starship capable of firing while being cloaked (other ships need to decloak first) - be it Valdore or maybe even Scimitar, not decided yet...

Unlike other factions, i want them (as part of ultimate balancing) to generally have stronger hulls, or in other words bigger ships with more hitpoints.


- Cardassian faction - i want these guys to focus more on defense, this being in line with how they were presented in the shows, boasting awesome space stations like DS9 and orbital defenses, but lacking in Capital ships department, pretty much have none to speak about.

So i am thinking about making their Starbase heavily upgradeable with phasers and torps, on top of being able to move to other planetary orbit (like DS9 did in the show´s opening episode), ...other than that i intend to include Chin´Toka Orbital defense platform, some kind of Resource Fabricator (as would make sense for a defensive turtling faction) and finally Dreadnought Missile from one of the Voyager´s episode (in other words NUKE).

- 1.13 related changes - want to act Federation Akira as a Carrier for Peregrine fighters (currently can only produce them, but not store them). give Prometheus class ANTI-NUKE capability (as a mean to defend from Cardies Dreadnoughts) and finally put in actual Star trek SOUNDS - for weapon effects to further bolster the immersion.

- finally, gonna do some at least some basic balancing, once all of above is done. As alluded in the mods description, i would welcome any help here.

Best Mod 12/10. I hope you can get some help with your Mod since Rusted Warfare is reletively cheap and addicting. I think the problem is the Game doesn't get thrown out there a lot, I admit even I was skeptical of the game at first even at $5, So a lot of other Modders don't put time into it, least how I feel about it.

What is going on with the Akira class? How do I get ammo for launches? would be nice to recall them too
