Additional Rules-Variants?
Hey there!
Thanks to CoronaI am about to start my first STA-TTS session in 2 weeks.
I am now getting used to what your awesome mod can do, and I was wondering:
Would you be willing to add a few more rules variants to it?
The first that comes to mind are the official advanced rules like Focused Research.
It seems that that isn't possible or at least not as part of the automated actions?

Hi DracoDruid. All the research variants can be used. You don't have to click the "Launch Projects" button. You can draw cards from the advancement deck by dragging the top card off and flipping it face up. You can also right-click the Advancement deck and search for the card you want, then drag it out. Anytime an advancement card leaves the deck, it becomes a project, and the script adds the "Complete" and "x" (discard) buttons.

Let me know of any other optional rules you want to try. Any of those in the rulebook should be achievable with a few manual steps. I am working to add the Bleached Lizard Variant to this version, but I need to find answers to how the new races interact with BL.

As so often, I figured that one out 5 minutes after posting this. :)

We also have a house-rules in that for every player's first 2 systems, 2 system discs are drawn, as well as 2 exploration cards, and the player may choose either.
I thought this wouldn't be possible with your scripting, but it turns out, we just have to manually draw the second disc/card and discard/reshuffle the unwanted.
But if you like to include this as a new scripted rule-variant... ;)

BTW: This is actually different than just putting 2xNumberOfPlayers discs/cards on top of the stack. As then, a quick player (e.g. the Cardassians) could grab 3 discs/cards and effectively steal one save draw from another player.

As for other house-rules:
We don't play with Science-Stealing as we a) often forget it and b) find it rather weird when the Ferengi suddenly have the Cult of Kahless or something like that.
I don't know if you have scripts in place dealing with sort of thing?

Hi Molydeus. I'm currently adding UCR3 content and translating into Italian. I can't promise I can do it quickly, but I'd like to see these expansions and will add them to my queue when I can. Where would I download them?

Hi there.
Would it be possible to add the optional Borg Rule Attack :: Command :: Attack variation? I know, that the battle have to be managed manually, but It would be nice to get reminded that after executing the command, there have to be another Attack phase. Or is this difficult because of the "Ignore Borg's Slow & Methodical" rule for Command::Aggression cards?

Hi. Adding the optional rule (and triggered from Aggression cards) can be done. I did originally intend to add that along with some of the other optional Borg rules (such as the 3 spire limit one). I'll add them to the list of improvements to be added. I'm currently programming UCR3 and translating to Italian. With the virus, I'm working 50+ hours, so I'm much slower to develop now.
