Arma 3
The Coming Storm (SP/Coop 4)
Feedback on "The Coming Storm"
So I decided to create a discussion, since the comments have a limit of 1000 characters, which isn't much in the end. So, I'm going to divide this review into a few categories to make it seem more cohesive than it actually is. I played this in SP by the way.

The Gameplay
No better place to start than the gameplay, am I right? Jokes aside, the gameplay is good. The map layout is solid, enemy placement good and the amount of enemies is just perfect. I had a few problems with the enemies being accurate as all hell, but other than that no big issues with the AI. I couldn't seem to Finnish the mission, though (pun intended), since the Sappers-task wouldn't trigger. I went to the location of the marker, waited and waited but no sappers arrived. Original squad lead was dead at this point, so maybe that was the issue? You might want to check the triggers again, or then I'm just stupid.

Historical Accuracy
I'm going to be a huge pain in the butt right now, but I'm sorry, I'm quite the history nerd (especially WW2) so I'll have to comment on this. I've found a few issues with historical accuracy, which I'm going to list below with possible fixes to them.
- Soviets had SVT-40's, which were adopted in 1940, and the Winter War broke out in 1939 so... yeah. [Solution] I know there is no SVT-38 in IFA3, but if there was, it oughta replace the SVT-40 in this mission
- Soviets had PPSH-41's. Same problem here.[Solution] IFA3 doesn't have a PPD (it just updated, so perhaps it does now?) and the Soviets really started using SMG's after the Winter War broke out, entering with mostly rifles (and LMG's ofc).
- Soviets had German Waffen SS trophy pants. This would of course make no sense, since
a) The camouflage pattern famously used by the Waffen SS troops later in WW2 wasn't inveted/used yet
b) Soviets were allied with Nazi Germany during the Winter War (The Molotov-Ribbentropp Pact) [Solution] Swap the uniform of the guys with the Waffen trophy pants
- Soviet gear was from past 1939, which is totally understandable, since there isn't a Soviet 1939 mod/skin yet (waiting for you, NF)) [Solution] Wait for NF to release the Winter War update
- There were Finnish Long Range Patrol units (Kaukopartio) which were adopted during the Trench Warfare phase of the Continuation War (and were also used during the Lapland War) [Solution] Change the 1 patrol that was LRP to normal soldiers
-Soviets had radios (which I understand for the radio chat purposes and gameplay, so a really minor thing) [Solution] Honestly nothing, it's good with radios :D

Immersion
The immersion would've been a perfect in this mission if it was set during the Continuation War (1941-1944), since the gear, weather and everything else would've worked just as well there, best during the Retreating Phase (1943-1944), as we Finns call it. And ofc, as I stated in the comments, the non-winteryness of this mission was kind of anti-climactic. On the other hand, it's no secret, as the screenshots show there's much green, so that's a good thing :D

Summary
All in all, an enjoyable scenario. Is it perfect? No, but nor does it have to be. I don't know how many missions you've made in the past (private profile) but you do know how to make an enjoyable scenario! Hats off to you :D

wow thank you for this huge reply yes i do know the history is off its actually only my 2nd scenario and i mostly focused on the sidechat trying to perfect that so later missions would be easier to make about the last trigger something i forgot to mention for the SP and Coop the SL is the trigger owner without him it wont activate yea sorry will mention that now in the desc, if i have the time i might change the uniforms and guns around, and again really big thanks for your reply its insane to get this huge feed back on my 2nd mission well 1st actual mission my other one was just a CQC one with no story just combat :D

oh and about the enemies being to accruate il fix that for other scenarios il just lower the enemy skill to 20-30 it makes them take like 4-5 shots more to kill you
