Creature Info
#1. Freaky Friend
-Rumored Habitat: N/A
-Possibly tamed: Create
Haunted dolls are common throughout myth...so why not create a little haunted doll of your own? Though this be no demonic posessed doll. Despite its creepy appearance, the spirits attached to these dolls and dwelling within them are friendly, childlike, and mischievious. They can come in handy as both a supporting creature, and a companion for exploring the unknown. Why do i say the latter? Well...let's just say they seem to know when something creepy or strange is nearby...
-Freaky Friends will detect any cryptid near them, tamed or wild, within 20,000 ark-units distance. If they start glowing orange, something mysterious is nearby....
-Freaky friends have no oxygen or food need or meter, and are genderless.
-They don't do much outside of cryptid detection, but have one attack: a weak laugh attack which is a ranged sort of attack. Can use it from your shoulder. Doesn't do much damage, but inflicts the "Paranoia" debuff onto foes- causing them to take 5% extra damage for short amounts of time.

#2. Con Rit
-Rumored Habitat: Ocean
-Possibly tamed: Tranq
Con Rit back home were said to be sighted off the coast of vietnam, and were reported as looking similar to large, segmented insects, but adapted to life in the ocean. Reports coming from seafaring survivors state similar, and horrifying tales of the creature. Apparently, like Leedsichthys, they are drawn to boats in the water and will sink them without a second thought: fitting for a sea serpent like themselves. However, unlike Leedsichthys, Con Rit won't stop there: it is reported that they will destroy boats to get at the survivors and animals that were on it to feed, finishing them with a venomous bite. Boats out in the open ocean sometimes go missing on the rare occasion by reasons that cannot be identified, as the attacks are uncharacteristic of those carried out by Leedsicthys....
-When riding Con Rit using its saddle, the saddle helps turn the whole creature into a sort of living submersible. As long as you're riding your Con Rit, you have unlimited oxygen and insulation from the external temperatures
-although con rit CAN clamber onto land, they are extremely slow on land and even running on land will cause little more than your con rit to flail wildly. NOTE: they have Aquatic breeding: they must lay eggs in the water, and babies cannot leave the water until fully grown!
-High natural armor
-Most wild creatures ignore con rit
-Con Rit is immune to Venom and Electrocution.
-stamina does not decrease in any way when running, decently fast swimmer
-left click bite. Damages rafts severely, inflicts AC2's Venom debuff onto the target.

#3. Cuero Chupacabra
-Rumored Habitat: Grasslands, Green Desert, Badlands, Fertile Chamber
-Possibly Tamed: tranq tame
The Chupacabra is arguably one of the most famous Cryptids, known the world over. Yet what most people don't know is that there are actually three different creatures all given the name “Chupacabra”- meaning “Goat Sucker”. The variety sighted in the areas of Texas, Mexico, and etc is a canine-like creature sporting long limbs, a long narrow snout, and tall ears- all of which are extreme for normal canines. Commonly confused for coyotes or wolves with mange, they got their name from attacking livestock. It appears these same creatures are also being sighted on ARKs, in similar habitats to where they once reportedly owned. A vampiric canine on the arks? Once again, it is commonly written off as mange-plagued direwolves, hyaenodon or Dinocrocuta...but still, sometimes corpses are found dried of blood: with very little flesh actually eaten. Who would even bother to pull such pranks on an ARK of all places?....or maybe, you can discover this creature for yourself, and prove to all it exists- and discover what kind of creature it can be when tamed, if possible....
-Cuero Chupacabra ONLY tame on a special type of food, called “Carnal Blood Packs”. These are made by crafting blood packs with raw meat and leech blood. Cuero Chupacabra will also eat these after taming, but they'll GORGE it faster than any other food: so watch out. When tamed, they'll eat normal meat
-Immune to Radiation and Bleeding.
-Pack hunter: Packs can get up to 5 in number and have a gang bonus of up to +5
-Attacks inflict a new type of Bleeding debuff. This debuff however is still parented from the vanilla bleed, so creatures immune to it will still be immune to this as well. This custom bleed we'll call “ChupaBleed”, for sake of explanation. When a target is hit with “chupableed” (not the actual name), it is the same as normal bleeding...however, any Cuero Chupacabra within a certain distance of a creature with this special bleed will get the “Vampiric Hunter” buff. This buff, while active, increases the damage and resistance of the Chupacabra by 15%!
-Cuero Chupacabra gather 3x as much Raw mutton, raw mutton weighs nothing in their inventory, and has a x10 preservation multiplier
-If Cuero Chupacabra harvests a corpse using its bite attack, it grants a special regeneration buff similar to the argentavis. However it heals slightly more HP, and while active, grants a 5% attack buff.
-Left click bite. Shreds armor, causes special bleeding, deals x10 damage to Ovis. If used on a corpse, grants a health regen+slight attack buff.
-right click claw slash. Can be used while moving, causes special bleeding, shreds armor, but does NOT deal extra damage or provides health regen. Deals less damage than the bite, but has a wider radius and attacks faster.
-C key howl. Other Cuero Chupacabra in the pack will howl back in response!
-X key Feed ability. Use it on a corpse to regain LARGE amounts of health quickly. However it has a cooldown and cannot be stacked with the in-place heal ability.
-spacebar to jump

#4. Atmospheric Jellyfish
-Rumored Habitat: Mountain, Scorched Mountain
-Tameable?: Not possible
Atmospheric Jellyfish are absolutely massive Jellyish sighted on extremely rare occasion back on the planet of our time. Little known and little understood, most people found their existence hard to believe in. Yet here on the stations it appears people are seeing something similar in the skies of the arks. Large, luminous jellyfish which float carefree throughout the sky, collecting whatever particulate they can. A bizzare sort of filter-feeder, it has no need to hunt and seems to simply avoid contact when struck. However, the chemicals and compounds that make up its body grant it strange physical defenses. It is next to impervious to all types of physical damage, with bullets basically going straight through it and not phasing it. It is presumed that if one were to kill an Atmospheric Jellyfish, it might be better to take on a form of chemical approach...
-Extremely armored towards physical damage. Electrocutes and shocks targets that make physical contact.
-Takes extreme damage from fire, explosions, wyvern breath attacks (corrosion Wyvern included!)
-harvesting the Atmospheric Jellyfish yields congealed Gas balls, atmospheric jellyfish venom, and
element.
-gives Atmospheric Jellyfish Venom, which is the same as Bio-toxin, but does not spoil!

#5. Yeti
-Rumored Habitat: Snowy Mountain, Snow, Snow Plains
-Tameable: Tranq Tame
Although what survivors have encountered in snowy caves they have dubbed “Yeti”, it might be more accurate to call those strange aberrations “Yetipithecus”. Some survivors have reported something larger- and more aggressive- in the snowy regions outside those caverns. Whatever this creature is, it is no simple cave-dwelling counterpart to the island's Gigantopithecus. It is a large, powerful creature bearing similarities to the true Yeti creature. A solitary animal, survivors claim it to be an omnivorous creature with a vile temper, wildly flinging rocks and debris at their aggressor from a distance, and then pummeling them into submission when in close combat. Although it may not be as friendly as the island's Gigantopithecus, one can wonder what the benefits of such a physically strong primate may be.
-Aggressive if you draw near
-Inventory similar to a beaver: reducing certain material weight.
-can still wear hats, like gigantopithecus
-Cannot pick up pets, throw you off its shoulder, or climb
-Can jump very well for its size.
-provides insulation to the rider.
-Rivalry buff when near larger enemy creatures. +15% resistance and melee when triggered!
-Left control punch. Similar to a mammoth, harvests berries and wood.
-Right control arm slam. Harvests similar to a rock elemental, gathering stone and wood.
-C key Rock Throw. Costs stamina and cannot be done while moving, but can be used in rapid succession for an excellent mid range attack and for keeping foes at bay. Can be toggled off in the radial wheel.
-X key snarl. Use it to toggle the Yeti's rivalry buff when you log into singleplayer or after the server restarts.
-Spacebar to jump!

#6. Snallygaster
-Rumored Habitat: Redwoods, Fertile Chamber
-Tameable?: Tranq Tame
Snallygaster is an odd-named cryptid from the united states that is more commonly believed to be a fictional folk tale rather than an actual, plausible creature due to the wild appearance of the creature described. Yet what is being sighted and heard in the dense redwood forests is being identified as the same, if not, similar creature. What survivors are dubbing the “Snallygaster” of the redwoods is a preposterous, bird-like, almost vaguely reptilian or draconic creature. Supposed traits are a venomous bite, flight, unhinging jaws, the ability to breathe fire, and emit high-pitched screaming and other vocalizations to sound louder than it actually is. Its hooping and shrieking calls keeping up any survivor through the night. Some have tried to tame it, but with no luck, as the creature does not seem phased by normal meat...tamed, it might make a very well rounded middle-tier mount...
-Diving Flier
-Only tamed through new item, “Unfiltered Beer jar”. Tames horribly with other options!
-Has a rare "Grimoire Snallygaster" variant. It has the same stat adjustments as an aberrant.
-Left click bite.
-Right click grab bite. Grabs things 150 drag weight or less. Combos into the X abilities when grabbed.
-C key Tail sting, inflicts a new debuff called Bastard's Toxin. "Bastard's Toxin" Is a nasty new status effect that does not drain HP, but rather, Paralyze, depending on drag weight. Targets under 150 drag weight fully succumb in 3 stings. Once stung three times, They cannot move at all. Targets over 150 drag weight but less than 300 drag weight can be struck a maximum of six times until their paralysis reaches full effect. At six stings, they loose 75% of their movement speed. Targets over 300 drag weight are the least bothered by this critter's toxin. It takes Ten stabs for their paralysis affect to reach full, at which point they only loose 50% of their movement speed. Regardless of Drag weight, victims loose 10% of their progress buildup every 10 seconds, So long as they have not been stung by a snally within said ten second window, else, they will need to wait longer. Creatures under 150 drag weight gain 34% buildup per strike, meaning they're in utter hell if attacked by a snallygaster. Creatures between 150 and 300 drag weight build up by 17%, meaning they gain more opportunity to strike back. Larger creatures than 300 drag weight aren't really more than inconvenienced by snallygaster, as they gain exactly 10% buildup per sting, only loosing about 5% of movement speed per sting, making them the easiest to recover and counterattack. Built-up percents cannot exceed 100%, so the decay rate is always fair and stable. Regardless of if the decay has reached 0% by the time the buff deactivates, the creature will have its movement speed restored.
-X key roar. For aesthetic.
-X Key when carried target is greater than 25 drag weight: Throw. Shakes the target, dealing three hits of 25 base damage, before throwing them to its right.
-X key when carried target is less than 25 drag weight: Devour. Snally will instantly kill the target, swallowing it whole, and giving itself an HP regen buff in the process.
-Left control fire breath. Good For burst damage.
-O Key Sap Consume. Snally must have at least 50 sap in its inventory for this ability. If it does, it will consume said sap to gain the "Arson" buff. Arson doubles the damage of Snallygaster's fire projectiles, for a time.
-Right Ctrl (land only) Uproar. Snallygaster will start screaming and throwing a fit. Any creatures nearby within a 6000 unit space aroun snallygaster will then have their torpidity DECREASE by 75 units per second. Excellent for keeping allies awake or waking them up, or for waking up a tame to start the process over.
-Alt+Left Ctl Banshee Scream. Snallygaster emits a loud call to make itself sound larger and more intimidating than it actually is, intimidating and scaring away smaller predators.
-Spacebar flight

#7. Nigerien Firespitter
-Habitat: Caves, Fertile Chamber, Bioluminescent chamber, Element Chamber
-Tameable?: Passive
The Nigerien Firespitter is one of the most obscure cryptids told from back home. Only ever sighted once, the Nigerien Firespitter's tale comes from a report of a single individual who reported an event that happened in the town of Arlit, ♥♥♥♥♥. Apparently shortly after the happening of a recent earthquake, local uranium miners from a nearby mine were chased into town by an 80 centimeter (2ft) long, four-legged, snakelike, scaled animal. This small creature had a slightly elongated neck, crocodile like head, and apparently was so aggressive when disturbed in the mine it was discovered, it chased the miners all the way back to the town. When local soldiers shot at it, the creature defended itself by breathing flame back at the soldiers until it was slain. Granted the bodily proportions of the reported animal, it was estimated the creature encountered was a baby, and a search was undertaken for the parents, which ended up fruitless. Fast forward to humanity's time on the arks now, and there are tales told by frequent cave-venturing tribes of something that scurries through the arks' depths. Almost like a Rock Drake without feathers, this ground-bound creature matches the description of the Nigerien Firespitter. Those in caves who report the miniscule animals state that despite being seemingly infants, these young creatures are extremely aggressive and very dangerous. Those are Aberrant arks also report sightings of these creatures...and what very well may be adults. These adult creatures are extremely vicious animals with a scorching breath and scalding bite. Although they seem, at a safe glance, to have ideal traits for a mount, these adult animals are far too aggressive and dangerous to bend to one's will, so the story goes. However, it might be possible, somehow, to tame the infant creatures, should someone find a way to calm them into becoming friendly and imprint upon them. Tamed, this fire-breathing, dinosaur-like creature might prove an ideal mount and partner for a survivor skilled, or suicidal enough to claim one.
-Adult Nigerien Firespitter will show up rarely in the same locales as children. Children have a more uncommon chance to spawn.
-Adult Firespitters will become aggressive at a farther distance than young ones.
-Firespitters can occasionally spawn underground.
-Slightly naturally armored
-Gives an insulation buff towards rider
-immune to burns, fire attacks, bleeding
-Reduces weight of mineral resources in inventory
-Can be told to dig via radial wheel. (Will come up to say hello if leveling up when not mounted and buried)
-Left click bite. Deals good damage. Inflicts Second-Degree burn.
-Right click claw slash. Harvests resources like an Ankylosaurus.
-C key flame breath. Hits many times, sets targets on fire. Cannot be used with insufficient stam.
-X key roar, for aesthetic.
-Spacebar to Jump.
-Left control to enter digging mode.
-Digging works the same as Basilisk, with a few twists. Nigerien Firespitter can attack WHILE digging, making for useful bob-and-weave scenarios. He is vulnerable when coming up to strike.
-right click while digging will cause him to surface temporarily and deliver a claw strike. This deals slightly increased damage than normal.
-C key while digging will cause him to surface temporarily, unable to move, and breathe fire before digging back down.
-Shift+Right Click will cause him to use his Claw attack as an ambush, exiting the ground and returning to an aboveground state while slashing. Has high damage output.
-Shift+C will cause him to ambush using his fire breath.
-Spacebar at any moment while underground to suddenly burst out from underneath and jump, exiting digging state. The jump from underground is much higher than your standard jump.

#8. Lake Van Monster
-Rumored Habitat: Freshwater, Bioluminescent Area, Sunken Forest Lakes
-Tameable?: Tranq Tame
Lake Monsters are arguably one of the most famous of all types of cryptids. Sighted the world over and almost all of them are rumored the same. However the one that seems to have appeared on the arks may be Lake Van's very own Lake Van Monster. Lake Van is a Saline Lake in Turkey- and as such, has very little of an ecosystem with any sustainable or large prey. Yet the Lake Van Monster adapted to this high-concentration environment. It absorbs the salt from its home into its skin and its body, allowing it to store and preserve food for long periods of time. Furthermore, it has an extremely slow metabolism, like sloths and koalas. As such, they are sluggish but VERY powerful animals, preferring this “lower power operating mode” to save on fuel, and combining it with its food preservation, it allows the Lake Van Monster to eat indiscriminately at slower rates and survive in ecosystems with hardly any prey at all. Lastly, the Lake Van Monster has a very specific way of expelling excess salt- a high-powered brine blast, pushing creatures back and damaging structures with pressurized water. Furthermore, the sheer high concentrations of salt make it a powerful attack, and these high concentrations when covering a target cause it to dry out, burning them and weakening their physical defenses. Despite all this strength, however, there is one flaw in the creature- its naturally slow metabolism. This prevents the creature from moving quickly or attacking with full strength, which may make it extremely unappealing to those who may want it. However, should one keep their Lake Van Monster well fed, if they tame one, the creature may realize it has no need to run in this “low power mode”, and reveal its full strength....
-Amphibious animal!
-Only takes 80% of incoming damage. Immune to shocks, Venom and Salt Burn.
-Produces “Natural Salt” in its inventory every 80 seconds. This weighs nothing in its inventory, but works the same as Preserving Salt- however, it lasts far longer than usual preserving salt!
-Has a “Slow Start Metabolism” debuff when tamed. This sharply reduces its movement speed, prohibits running, and weakens its melee damage for 4 hours after taming. When this buff wears off, its stats and speed will return to normal, inflicting full damage and moving at its proper speed.
-Bred Lake Van Monsters will NOT have the “Slow Start Metabolism” Debuff! However, you CANNOT BREED WILD-TAMED LAKE VAN MONSTERS WITH BRED ONES: THEY ARE SEPERATE CREATURES.
-can enable Turret Mode!
-consumable items in inventory get a x10 preservation multiplier as opposed to a normal creature's 4x.
-Left click bite. Excellent damage. (Remember: this attack deals 60% less damage when LVM is affected by the Slow Start Metabolism debuff!)
-Right click Salt breath. Shoots a stream of high-pressurized salt water to inflict the Salt Burn debuff, making targets take more damage and slowly loose health.
-C key. Tail swipe. Hits behind itself twice, great for punishing attackers from the rear.
-O key roar, for aesthetic.

#9. Bunyip
-Rumored Habitat: Swamp, Luminous Marshlands, Sunken Forest
-Tameable: Tranq Tame
The Bunyip is one of the most obscure cryptids. Coming from Australia, it is quite literally sighted with a variety of features- from wings to claws, scales, arms,a beak, teeth, feathers- practically anything you could describe an animal having, somebody has reported a Bunyip with said feature. What the survivors from Australia on the Arks are calling “Bunyip”, however, seems to be some sort of bizzare creature vaguely familiar in appearance and behavior to a colossal seal. Reports describe a bulky creature with extreme physical strength, durability, and a dangerously foul temper. If tamed, it could prove a powerful tank and fighter...
-Like Megatherium, you can tell it to sit via radial wheel, and it will recover health quicker while resting.
-naturally only takes 80% of incoming damage
-Immune to Venom, electrocution, knockback.
-Bunyip has a rage mechanic similar to Giganotosaurus. Take damage to build up rage. When entering rage (the roaring animations alone), Bunyip takes massively reduced damage! When in Rage, Bunyip deals a staggering 2x damage and an additional 20% resistance multiplier (granted via buff, not natural armor). More importantly, Bunyip also regenerates mass amounts of torpor and stamina per second, at a cost of a 2.5x food consumption multiplier while raging. Effectively, raging grants Bunyip unlimited stamina for the duration!
-Bunyip gets no HP regeneration while raging, so keep that in mind. However, Bunyip excels at crowd control and soaking in mass amounts of damage to deal it right back to the target!
-Left click: Bite. 70 damage. No special effect.
-Right Click: Claw slash. 60 damage. Same damagetype as Giga, destroying up to stone structures. Inflicts Shredded, weakening target healing!
-C Key: Tail Slam. A powerful in-place attack. Same damagetype as Giga, destroying up to stone structures. Cannot be used with insufficient stamina, base 125 stamina cost. Inflicts a trike-styled stun on anything 250 drag weight or less, slowing them to 40% movement speed for 5 seconds and inflicting knockback.
-Right Click (while looking left or right): Stomp. Base 180 damage. Cannot be done while moving. Each directional stomp has its own 12 second cooldown. Costs 175 stamina to use. Same damagetype as Giga, destroying up to stone structures. Inflicts a normal stun on anything 250 drag weight or less, stunning the target in place and dismounting riders. Can only be used on land.
-Left Click (while looking left or right): Thrash. Has a 225 stamina cost. Cannot be done while moving. Can only be done on land. Base 130 damage, hitting twice (once on stomp and once on tail sweep). Turn to face the direction you look, while attacking and dealing knockback. No Cooldown.
- Left control: Aesthetic Roar.

#10. Emela Ntouka
-Rumored Habitat: Grassland, Green Desert, Jungle, Fertile Chamber, Sunken Chamber
-Tameable: Tranq Tame
One of the “Living Dinosaurs” sighted in modern times, Emela Ntouka is said to be a relative of Triceratops that lives deep within the jungles of Africa- where this highly aggressive animal is known for attacking anything that gets close to it- it is even known for killing Elephants, and quite easily, apparently. Survivors have reported a similar creature, and while that is intriguing, they have used a terrifying phrase to describe its power: “Mammal-Smok”. Like Smok has a hatred for Dinosaurs, this aggressive, seemingly omnivorous ceratopsid is reported for having a vile hatred for all forms of mammals, dealing far more damage to them than any other normal creature. Tamed, it could prove a powerful creature against mammal threats, and still a solid combatant against non-mammalian threats
-Omnivore, prefers meat.
-Spawns 2x more commonly in the jungle, fertile chamber, and sunken forest than the grassland and green desert!
-Inventory works the same as the Eotriceratops of AC2: A smithy with the combined uses of Argentavis and Casteroides.
-Highly aggressive. Do NOT draw close.
-Deals 1.65x damage with ANY of its attacks to any Mammals. This includes over 60 creatures from both vanilla, DLCs, and my other mods for cross-compatibility.
-Left click bite. Deals solid damage, harvests berries, corpses, fiber.
-Right click horn attack. Harvests corpses, has piercing damage.
-C key stomp. Cannot be done while moving or while swimming, or without sufficient stamina. Has high knockback.
-X key taunt emote, for aesthetic.
-Left control roar, for aesthetic.

#11. Arica Monster
-Rumored Habitat: Dunes, Badlands, Green Desert, Desert Biodome
-Tameable: Tranq
The only known raptorian cryptid, the Arica Monster is a dinosaur from the Atacama Desert in Chile. First sighted running alongside a car on a desert road, the creature is known for its speed, which likely helped in traversing its vast environment. A similar, large raptor is sighted on scorched arks, running at high speed through the desert for incredible amounts of time, even under harsh conditions. If found and tamed, the Arica Monster could prove a viable companion: being an excellent way to travel the desert without fear of sandstorms in record time, while also being a powerful pack animal.
-Arica Monsters are immune to sandstorms and bleeding
-A long, fast stride allows them to run at high speed with little stamina use, taking bounding strides when they run. They have an extremely slow stamina cost for running, and combined with their high speed, makes them a great mount.
-Arica monster will get "Excited" When a sandstorm is incoming. It will play two different animations to warn of a coming sandstorm, kind of like jerboa. If unmounted, they will do a fullbody animation that locks them in place while they do it. When ridden, they will do an additive animation. Eventually, they will also get a buff that will increase their movement and melee damage when a sandstorm is active as well.
-Left click bite. Pierces/shreds armor
-right click pounce. Cannot be done with insufficient stamina or when encumbered. This has the same damagetype as a lance, knocking riders off their mounts.
-C key call, for aesthetic
-Spacebar to jump

#12. Mothman
-Rumored Habitat: Redwoods, Luminous Marshlands, Sunken Forest
-Tameable: Passive
Mothman is one of the most infamous and well-known cryptids from our home. Though, what is being called “Mothman” on the arks is a bit different- a large, black owl with piercing red eyes. It is said that these creatures are phantoms and spectors just like their namesake- disappearing in a shadow of smoke and leaving only chaos behind in its wake, either a bringer of doom or a harbinger of ill omens. There are those that dream of claiming one of these creatures for themselves to see which bodes true- and if tamed, it is possible the Mothman could prove a master debilitator, causing panic and dissent among one's enemies!
-Inspired by the current running meme through Cryptid fan circles that mothman's “Just an Owl”
-Very low health, but focuses on being a master support creature by inflicting many buffs.
-Naturally friendly and fine to approach
-When tamed, has an aoe Fear debuff. When near players and tames not in the same tribe, it causes the “Paranoiac” debuff to anything nearby, lowing defense and attack power.
-Immune to venom, blindness, radiation, and moth poison
-Diving flight
-Regenerates stamina when flying
-Left click bite.
-right click talon attack. Inflicts bleeding. Specifically, this will inflict Chupacabra's special bleed. Although it won't slow the target, it'll trigger the Vampiric Hunter buff in nearby Chupacabras.
-C key Shadow Pulse AoE. When mothman uses this (this is also his startled animation), he will send out a pulse of darkness that will blind the target with the Tusotuethis ink debuff. If you dive into the ground, Mothman will use this as a slam attack.
-X key Gas Blast. Mothman will shoot several projectiles of a Teargas-like compound, which will inflict the Moth Poison buff on targets inflicted, slowing them and draining stamina. This attack does not hurt allies and can be negated with a gas mask.
-Left control predator vision. Use Q to disable it.
-Spacebar to fly.

#13. Ahklut
-Rumored Habitats: Tundra, Tundra Biodome, Ocean Biome (Genesis)
-Tameable: Tranq Tame
Ahklut are giant wolf-orca hybrids in Inuit mythology, powerful native spirit-beasts. While in the ark network it could be easy to assume the culprit of sightings to be an enlarged Ambulocetus or Pakicetus, those who live near the tundra's shorelines report something vastly different. A massive, four-legged shape hauling itself onto the ice, climbing out of the sea to stalk the land. If such a creature did exist, it would easily be an extremely powerful and versatile mount, able to provide ample protection and travel in both the sea and land.
-Includes a rare "Sacred Ahklut" variant with a color pattern based on Inuit orca totems. These rare variants can spawn in place of any normal ahklut and on tame have 15% more health and melee damage.
-Left click bite, decent damage.
-Right click (land only) Lunge. Will lunge a set distance. Cannot be spammed, used while encumbered, or with insufficient stamina. If the Ahklut grabs the target (Grabs creatures of up to 150 drag weight), As soon as it lands, Ahklut will perform a maul attack to greatly damage the target, then throw it off towards its left. when thrown, the target is given a slowing debuff for a short time.
-C key Paw slam. High knockback. In water, this becomes a paw slash.
-X key roar, for aesthetic.
-Left control (water only) U-turn dash. Ahklut will turn in place and swipe the target with its tail. This will inflict some damage and also propel the ahklut backwards, before Ahklut turns in place again. Cannot be used with insufficient stamina.
-Shift+Left Control (water only) Forward Dash. Cannot be used at the surface of water. Ahklut will dash forwards a bit. Inflicts no damage. Cannot be used with insufficient stamina.
-Spacebar to jump. Ahklut will jump higher from the water's surface than from on land.

#14. Champ
-Rumored Habitats: Freshwater
-Tameable: Tranq or Passive
The Lake Champlain Monster, otherwise known affectionately as “Champ”, is said to be a freshwater-dwelling plesiosaur living in Lake Champlain. It is said to be medium-sized and have the ability to echolocate. On the arks, there have been sightings of plesiosaurs in lakes. Not the large elasmosaurs of the oceans, but a much smaller plesiosaur patrolling the island's freshwater river systems. While it could be any sort of actual plesiosaur, it has been affectionately named as such by residents, and its elusive nature gives the creature some credibility. While it could prove an agile water mount, it would likely be stuck in whatever body of water it was found and tamed in, unless one could somehow figure out a way of moving it to open water or the ocean; or unless the body of water connected to the open sea.
-Cannot come on land. Be careful selecting which champ to tame if you don't have a method of getting it to more accessible water! (cryopods, transmitter, etc)
-Can turn in place
-Friendly, will not attack unless provoked.
-Can be ridden without saddle.
-Left click bite. Deals increased damage to fish and gathers increased amounts of organic polymer.

#15. Puerto Rican Chupacabra
-Rumored Habitat: Jungle, Sunken Forest, Fertile Chamber
-Tameable: Tranq
El Chupacabra, otherwise known as the “Puerto Rican Chupacabra”, is the original type of chupacabra known and sighted from the island nation of Puerto Rico. A small, gremlin-like creature, it was reported as being lightning-fast and remarkably agile, but surprisingly strong for its size. It was both feared and revered by the people of its country. There's reports from the jungles of a “gremlin-like dinosaur” which survivors are calling “El Chupacabra” due to its bloodsucking nature. While it is not the original sighted gremlin-like creature, the similarities are uncanny, so perhaps these creatures were influenced by the ark, like every other creature here. Regardless, the reports of its incredible agility and dexterity are clear...and supported by one survivor who claims to have one. Apparently, not also is the creature, despite its size, strong enough to comfortably support a survivor on its back, but it is also agile and light enough to leap atop a survivor's shoulders sit comfortably there without encumbering the rider. While this may sound comical, the practicality of a shoulder-mount which can suddenly be deployed and ridden has its practicalities in certain situations, making them ideal tames for those who want both a pet and reliable scouting mount.
-The Puerto Rican Chupacabra can both be picked up and ridden. Be careful approaching it: the default option without a creature on your shoulder is to pick it up, not ride it!
-Only takes Carnal Blood Packs for taming
-Uses Raptor Saddle
-Gang bonus
-Immune to fall damage and bleeding
-Left click bite. Inflicts the Chupacabra Bleed, which is the same as normal bleed but without slow. If a Puerto Rican Chupacabra is near a target suffering from this effect, it will gain boosted melee and resistance for a time.
-Right click bark, for aesthetic.
-Spacebar jump (absurdly friggin high. Yeet away from pursuers by vaulting up and over obstacles)

#16. Partridge Creek Beast
-Rumored Habitat: Tundra, Snow Biodome
-Tameable: Tranq
The Partridge Creek Beast was a very rarely seen cryptid from the cold north of Canada's Yukon. Sighted to be a 12 meter, ceratosaurus-like predator covered in either fur or feathers. While its safe to assume its a genetically altered ceratosaur or juvenile yutyrannus, survivors are swearing that what's hunting the mammals of the north is completely different. Its an aggressive predator that uses its size to ward off smaller foes and run down targets, while also using a fierce set of horns to gore its victims. If such a theropod did exist, it would likely be a powerful mount for exploring the frozen wastes of the tundra.
-Immune to being frozen
-Pelt weighs around 5% of its weight in its inventory
-Uses Yutyrannus Saddle
-gives an insulation buff to the rider
-Left click bite. Good attack speed.
-Right click headbutt. Has a cooldown, but does knockback and bleeding.
-C key aesthetic roar. This will inflict mid-ranged Startle.
-X key Intimidate roar. Inflicts lower-tier Intimidation onto targets, making them run away if unmounted, and lowering their damage and resistance (if they are under a set drag weight)

#17. Ogopogo
-Rumored Habitat: Freshwater
-Tameable: Tranq or Passive
Ogopogo is the name of a massive lake monster said to inhabit lake Okanogan in canada. It is hypothesized by many to be a large, whale-like creature that dwells within the lake. While an amphibous creature like the Lake Van Monster may sound reasonable due to it being amphibious, the Lake Okanogan Monster is something else entirely. Such a creature of that size would get easily stuck in shallow water: and ironically, many reports state seeing a massive, whale-like animal having beached itself far inland, away from any sea. There's also those that state they see the massive animal swimming freely in some of the larger and deeper lakes, but this remains to still be seen. If tamed, it could arguably be an effective water mount...but keeping it in lakes would likely result in it going unused. If it could somehow be moved into the open ocean for more frequent use, it could prove useful.
-Immune to squid ink and electrocution
-Ogopogo may often spawn stuck in shallow water (due to ark spawners). I've tried to fix it the best I can but i've done what I can to account for the game.
-Has a tek saddle that can be unlocked after beating Alpha Snallygaster. The tek saddle has no guns, but has increased armor, and gives ogopogo a buff where its melee increases slightly, and it gets increased health back per second for recovery (as well as a higher armor value).
-Passive, and will not attack unless struck first.
-Left click bite. Inflicts heavy damage on a target.
-Right click growl, for aesthetic.
-X key to toggle echolocation (predator vision) and left control to disable it.

So i came a cross a Bunyip (Cool looking Creature) and tamed that beast but it seems to have a bit of a Break dancing fetish because it wont stop rocking back and forth, i have to make it sit down to stop it. Also on occasion it will look like im running in the air when i stop and move again. Minor Bug but i figured it needs some TLC.

Its a default issue with the megatherium skeleton.

Just tell them to sit, for now. It'll be fixed in the upcoming TLCs.

Whenever i want to use the YA-TE-VEO seed, it freezes my game and make it crash... any fix or suggestions?

Something happened with the latest update that seems to have deleted my Akhluts. I can't summon them from the soulball mod without the "Server cannot load dino class, check installed mods for modded dinos" error message coming up.
Shadlos  [developer] Nov 14, 2020 @ 9:45pm
Check patch notes please.

I mistyped the TLC akhlut name originally. Originally it was Ahklut_character_bP_C instead of Akhlut_character_bP_C.

For ark, a simple typo like that is enough to delete an entire creature.

Does Ahklut spawns in extinction Tundra Biodome on the surface, or only in the caves? I'm searching for it already for a week, but it doesn't spawn... even after multiple "destroywilddinos".
Can someone help me/give me a tip/hint, how to find them?
