The reason they're blocks of color and not inverted sketches of what they actually look like is because a silouette is easier to recognize than your brain having to piece together the individual small shapes, especially at such a small size. Plus what if people using this have a toaster craptop or are just watching some youtube video on their phone? They're not going to be able to tell as easily because now there's more different colored pixels that all have to fit in one area on screen. Plus, the kill list function isn't all that important anyway for most players unless they wanna read their plays, it doesn't seem like something that NEEDS an update.
