Same castles every siege
Almost every time i do a siege battle with the largest version of Expanded Japan, it gives me the same H shaped castle. Was SOTS designed for a smaller version of Expanded Japan or is something not working?

Its been a long time, I could be way off, but I believe your problem is SotS was built for the vanilla campaign map. Expanded Japan doesn't really add new bounding boxes on it's clusterf*ck map, so neighboring provinces wind up sharing the same siege maps.
