Incredibly boring
I started a Teutonic campaign on normal. It might be the most boring game I've ever played. There is literally nothing to do. Riga can't support more than 12 units so I can't attack anyone. Enemy all have full stacks. No one will trade or non-agg with me to improve income or relations. There's no money to upgrade buildings and research and growth are hours of game time from being remotely useful. All I can do is click next turn and watch nothing happen. Winter prevents all movement for HALF the turns. No one can invade me, and I can't invade anyone else.

How does this mod have so many good reviews? It's an absolute snooze fest.

It gets good reviews because people are addled out of their minds of Medieval II nostalgia and barely criticize this mod outside of its apparent lack of updates. Which it is in fact being updated, just only on modBD for some reason.

I honestly think the entire mod is pretty bad, the units look great but the battles are literally the exact same as Attila's with all of the spaghetti-thin infantry lines and no entity-mass, spread-out cav units we all know and hate.

The campaign is good in concept but the Mongols get slaughtered instantly the AI builds entire armies of foot-archers (just like vanilla Attila).

Overall, the mod is effectively vanilla Attila with a medieval coat of paint. If you want a historically accurate Attila experience, play Fall of the Eagles.

Depends on the region, the developers are currently working on a custom map thanks to the new CA tools, the north of the map in Attila is always boring due to the fact there's very little settlements there.

I don't want to be rude, but teutonic order is a challange start. Did it myself, its extremely interesting, because you need to play risky. You can slowly build up, or plunder your own city, or just play extremely well in the battles ahead.
This sounds very much like you did not had the experience on how to deal with the situation you found yourself in.

I fully agree about the campaign map boredom.

Also, I had an infantry unit turn tail(routing), a couple seconds after breaching a gate, surrounded by friendly units, that lost about a single model or two out of 140-/160 ? Can't remember the exact number, let's say 157/160.
The morale said something about enemy units on flank and all that, but it still made 0 sense, I had hundreds of friendly troops rushing trough the gate, they had plenty of support, but they turned tail for some godforsaken reason...

At that point, I alt-F4, uninstalled.
