Yeah, I had tried (Albiet very poorly) to make a graveyard in the original, but I was planning to make a better one (and much larger) in the second. And that's a good idea, maybe have a note on the treehouse...
Even could be in a little town.
- New Areas, including (But not limited to)
+ Construction Area
+ Better Basement
+ Better Forest
+ Asylum
+ Small Village
+ Graveyard
+ Admin Box
+ More Dynamic sounds
+ Better Paths
Anything else?
-Hellingly Hospital*
-Ruins of Detroit*
-The Sedlec Ossuary
If you are looking for an environment that contain playable areas that are outside, I would suggest looking at these places:
-Matsuo Ghost Mine*
-Prague’s Old Jewish Cemetery
-Gunkanjima
-Aokigahara Forest
The names that have an asterisk ' * ', at the end of the name are the one's that I would think would make a great level layout and design.
A cell block(think the prison you and the Aniltons raid in HL2)
A hospital
A carnival
The Catacombs of Paris
A graveyard
Or a construction site
