If you are a Pegasus user you should feel pretty familiar with the layout of the control and handling in general. The default setting should allow you to dash 55m/s up to 30% wind. By pushing engine limiter to its max you will reach 62m/s safely. However, Most stabilization is actively done trough its propeller pitch. That mean no engine power = less stability. Avoid cutting power when turning at 60m/s



While the original foil pitch are still accessible, you no more need to adjust them as they are now automated. There is only two Throttle that you need to focus on: The engine limiter and Ship ride height. With these two settings, you can make the Orion go 50m/s even in wind above 40%, even on autopilot. This is because the Orion cut trough wave instead of jumping over them.

Here is the step by step simplified procedure to achieve and maintain best speed in all weather:

• Wind 10% to 30%: Ship fall off its foil when turning. You may be too heavy. Just increase Max Engine Power.
  
  
• Wind 30% to 50%: Ship may start falling off its foil. This is because its prop are getting out of water. Lower ship ride until prop remain in it, but not further. if ship do not maintain a stable speed, increase Max Engine power to better cut trough wave.
  
  
• Wind above 40%-50%: Depending on wind direction, it may be time to change strategy. If you can't maintain a stable speed. Pull down Max Engine Power, then raise Ship ride to its max. Then increase Max Engine Power until you start feeling instability. Doing so will result in a lower speed but smoother and safer ride.

I will likely automate this in the future, but for now here is what you have to do:

• Cut Autopilot if its on.
  
• Engage Superstructure Water Pump if there is water in the cockpit.
  
• Engage Active Stabilization System.

Didn't work and ship is now moving laterally? Do this:

• Turn Active Stabilization System off.
  
• Crank up Active Stabilization System power.
  
• Engage Active Stabilization system again.
