How to win outpost 13
Am i missing something when the isd's start attacking i slow them down and start hitting turbolaser batteries Then shortly after rebel one's fleet comes in all the isd's just ignore them and just focus down the outpost. Its destroyed in about 30 seconds.

me too me too and scouted the whole map just in case tried different strategies used torpedos on engines and main guns,used all firepower on one star destroyer etc. awesome update and after eleven tries and restarts of the mission because when you try to load the in mission save it crashes and restart restart and if you don´t have a helpfull answer just keep it yourself !

agreed, Araulius acting all righteous about it...I just want to get past the mission to enjoy the rest of the mod, nothing fun or fulfilling about having to sit through a 2 minute intro sequence every time you have to restart. Finally triggered the next step, but basically had almost all destroyers down to ions and they still destroyed the station before it marked the turbo objective complete.

destroyed every turbolaser on every ship, nothing advanced right away, but destroyers are still able to damage the station. By the time the next event triggers the station is only a couple hits from being destroyed and doesn't give enough time for the next event to happen before defeat. Not sure how I can be "missing something" when I have destroyed every turbolaser as the objective asks for.

Araulius, can you please explain in detail what to do in this mission? This is really giving us a bad time with the mod. I think that this is some kind of puzzle, but I don't play AOTR to solve puzzles.

Ok I finally made it!
(sorry but it was the heat of the battle and I don't remember some details as clear as I wish)
First you get through the boring intro, then you chase the spy tie into the nebula and retreat to the base when you find the isd's, then the x wings report the incident and squadrons start to spawn from the outpost 13.
After some seconds, a group of four Y-wings spawn.
I made two groups; one out of the ships that spawned from the outpost 13, and another of the y-wings that spawned. Ctrl+1, and Ctrl+2.
After that you need to slow down the isd's, I did it by right clicking on the engine of the closest isd with the y-wing group. A message appeared saying that the isd's have slowed down.
After that, I focused my groups on destroying the batteries of the closest isd, and after, I'm not shure how many batteries, the rebel one reinforcements appeared.
I placed rebel one in front of outpost 13 to cover the base and made another group Ctrl+3 out of the reinforcements and I kept destroying batteries of the closest isd's.
After some time and some batteries destroyed on different isd's a message appears calling for base evacuation.
Thereafter a group of well known capital ships and a hero warp into the map (I'm not going to spoil it) and give you the upper hand in the battle, making the remaining isd's to flee the battle.

I have to say that ya this is silly. The star destroyers move to friggin fast. By the time the Y-wings show up... 2 star destroyers are already at the base and have destroyed it's shields. I can slow them down but it's too late

i think it would do more sense to hit the engines to slow them down anyone agrees ? but
then you don´t trigger the reiforcemnts when you destoy or hit the engines and you are busted tried today for seven times really anoying mission !! can we have option to activate deactivate this missions in game ?

You have to hit the engines to slow them down, that is already part of the mission. You only have to destroy the main batteries later

the Y-wings show up after you send your X-wing back and destroyed a few fighters, so everything depends on how fast you can get that done

Man I've been trying this is just such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You take down the main cannons.. still the other 4 star destroyers just mop up the base.

okay, so firstly I cheesed it a little bit, i circumvented the first trigger and came at it from the nebula, and turned around once it fired. as soon as the x wing's weapons were enabled i was hitting the star destroyers hard points as the dialogue stated "almost there" (or whatever similar phrase it was) i had the x wings bug out and head to the station. some how this delayed the star destroyers and i had the y wings as they left the nebulae. for whatever reason this time around i managed to trigger the slow down objective solely by right clicking on the engines where as most times it would wait until the y wings hit one. this led to me having more breathing room for the destroy batteries phase it seems that it requires most of the batteries on the star destroyer that has "long range medium turbolasers" to be destroyed and a good few off on the rest. also since the person being coy at the top is one of the testers he probably feels obligated to not say too much

home one can't be killed so all you need to do is move him in from of the outpost and they will change fouces on him then destroy some of the isd till home one comes
