trade routes are the lines that connect planets, they are a fixed value and cant be changed by player actions, to get the income from a trade route you must control both planets the route connects(space dominance optional), In general the more "important" a planet is lore wise, the higher value the trade routes, coruscant i think has individual trade routes that give 200 weekly each, but many of the outer rim worlds have trade routes that barely give anything
