One idea is Raven from the teen titans and it would work similarly to the Rick and Morty portal gun and this together. You could conjure spells and you could make portals and portals to other dimensions like the portal gun. It would literally be like reskinning the portal to be black or purple and the weapon to just be hands. You would have some of the gauntlets magical abilities but black and so would the portals.
