the avengers are people who are called heros because they have special abilitys and save the world with them and thanos is super smart like a avenger named tony stark also known as ironman but thanos is a evil villain and he has been planning to kill half of all life in the universe ever sense all life on his planet died of not enough resources so he wants to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to other planets/people so he has went to planet to planet killing half of life on those planets and thanos has 2 daughters i don't know there names because of bad memory but they both turned on thanos but thanos made the infinity gauntlet and gathered all of the infinity stones to do what he planned to kill half of all life in the universe and the infinity gauntlet has special places for each infinity stone i will name them now in order of when thanos got them in the movie avengers infinity war power,space,reality,soul,time,mind and the stones have infinite power and thats why when thanos gathered them all and put them in his infinity gauntlet he was able to kill half of all life with the infinity gauntlet but each stone has unique abilitys the space stone is able to warp through space and go anywhere the holder wants the reality stone can change reality to what the holder of the reality stone wants the power stone is powerful the soul stone can do things i don't know exactly the mind stone allows the holder to phase through things and can shoot a beam from the mind stone the time stone can control time and the infinity stones are super powerful i mean they do hold infinite power which is why no person can just hold it and control it's infinite power so if you are a human don't just try to hold a infinity stone you will die if you hold it long enough but there are exceptions the power stone is able to be used if the power is shared equally with 4 people you,and 3 other people the soul stone how ever can be held by the person who makes a sacrifice to get the soul stone and thanos is able to hold every stone in hand or in his gauntlet because he is a strong entity from the planet titan and also maybe because his gauntlet absorbs the power of all the stones but thanos can hold a stone in his hand no problem but the stones are not like acid and won't just burn through things if it is set on a table or desk you can put it on dirt and it won't affect the dirt in any way so you can make a gauntlet out of metal or plastic you can put every stone on the homemade gauntlet but any person who puts on the gauntlet will have serious trouble wearing the gauntlet and using it you can hold it but if you put your hand in the gauntlet you will have trouble using it and if you are a human you will die in seconds only 2 people were able to use it with out dying thanos and hulk but hulk had a serious injury on the hand he used to wear the gauntlet and use the gauntlet but 1 person who was a human used the gauntlet and would of died instantly because all the stones were in the gauntlet but he didn't die instantly when he used it because of his spoilers ahead watch avengers endgame if you don't want to get spoiled the person who used the gauntlet and died was ironman and he defeated thanos and all of thanos's henchmen but ironman was able to hold the gauntlet and not die instantly because his iron armor absorbed the power of all the stones and when ironman snapped he was on the ground barely able to speak and died in seconds after his last few words hope this helped you
