29th Infantry or 82nd Airborne would be cool.

There are a bunch of cool allied divisions to do. The trouble is with the axis you run out of ideas much faster.

Divisions that fought outside of Normandy are not being considered at this time. We have enough stuff we could do with the remaining units involved in Overlord that we have alot of work to do.

As far as italians, by spring of 1944 the italians were out of the war.

A recall a post/a few post at paradox forum, where someone suggested 709th infantry division to eugen, and provided with detailed reasonings, historical data and even unit recommendations, maybe you can get some inspiration from that?

29th US Division with a 1x Sherman Rhino and low numbers vet assault infantry. Their main strenght should be A naval offmap and bombers and +100 pts income in A and then getting lower. (maybe something close to your 1st SS division's income/idea)

and
50th Infantry Division (UK) with Hobart's Funnies - phase A 1x Crocodile and 2 stars AVRE (and Valentine DD would be intresting too :P) and also including 3x units 2 stars of Royal Marines (same as SSB one)

Both's divisions infantry should be transported with LVT amphibious carriers.


For Germans:
2nd FSJ Division under Ramcke command. More oriented to close quaters fight since they fought mainly in Brest - FSJ assault units with 4x Mp40 and 1xFG42, smoke and AT granade, Panzerschrek infantry unit similar to Gross Paris one (1x Panzerschreck, 1x mp40, 7x rifles 1x MG42), better ATs including Pak40s, 2x Nebelwerfer, Bogwarts in C. Division based only at FSJ units in all phases without all those Pupchen and support guns but with standard German AT/support equpment.

2nd SS Panzer Division:
German version of 4th with 130 incomes in B and C, cheaper Stug IV in anti tank tab (with 2 stars), Brummbar with 2 stars in B, Sk18 (x1) in A, and then more in C, MG42 only SKDFZ 222s (same as 21st have), Pz3 M without stars in A and 20 pts Grenadiers without panzerfausts and veterancy and then in phase C 4x mp40, 5x kar98, 1x MG42 Grenadiers in Halftrack for 70 pts.

- that 29th sounds similiar to how the BRO will prolly end up looking like. We have an idea for the 29th. And it will have pretty good availablity of bombers. Im thinking their A might actually end up being kinda weak considering how difficult Omaha was (But its a very early WIP)

- That sounds very similiar to the idea that we have developing for the 3rd Infantry division (UK) which will be a combination of the Scots/ 3rd Can and a little SSB. 50th may be an option that also gets added.

- We're working on way to include more FSJ units. We're currently looking at the 5. FSJ, the 2 FSJ, the 6. FJR (as the german 34 slot SSB-like deck), and/or a Fortress Brest combination division. We will probly do the unveteran 5. FSJ Division first, which would be released with the veteran 82nd AB. so then we'll have a veteran and none veteran para division for both

- We are developing a plan for the 2. SS. What youre describing tho sounds alot like what the rumors are for eugens 1 SS.
