Locked modules slots, missing initial shipyard?
Has anyone seen any 3.4.3 issues with this mod? I'm trying to track down some weirdness going on in my game, and it's a starbase issue, so checking here. I keep getting missing buildings (such as the initial shipyard and other modules that should spawn at the beginning of the game) and/or locked module slots, sometimes next unlocking even with upgrades. Wondering if anyone else is having issues like this.

I'm not having that problem, so it might be a mod incompatibility.

I wouldn't doubt it, I certainly use a fair number, just wondering if anyone else has seen something like it, and this is one of only a few mods I use that might effect Starbases.

I was having the same locked slots problem, but after removing this mod and the additional slots mod that goes along with it, my buildings were unlocked.

I am having this issue too, it must be compatibility issue but I am not sure what is cause.

found the fault on my mod list. Are you using Plentiful Traditions 3.x - Extra Perks? I fixed it by downloading ! Sartek Tradition - Ascension Perk Merger

Tried this and didn't work for me.
The starbase will stay with modules locked for no reason.

The problem seems to be 'More Starbase Slots for Expanded Starbases'.

I tried this mod alone and it works.

I tied this mod with all other mods I am using and turning off 'More Starbase Slots for Expanded Starbases'. It works.

I checked the files to see what is the difference with both, the more slot mod looks... ok??? Unless I am missing something.

Can some one please confirm this by turning off 'More Starbase Slots for Expanded Starbases' if you are using it.

Just a quick update.
More Starbase Slots for Expanded Starbases works now.
Now all slots are usable as they should be.

I have the same problem. When I start the slots are locked, I thought that should be some kind of start help. To start later from another mod. I just could not think of which, good that I read this :D

I have also asked 2 other mods in the comments. I can save myself now.

I think, i found compability issue with blocked slots. Problem with Justice Ascension Perk from Plentiful Traditions - Extra Perks mod. That Perk adds more building and module slots so change same files as Expanded Starbases.

There's a compatibility issue with the new Grand Archive DLC that adds new types of stations. You need to directly patch the following files:

In common\starbase_types: sbeastport, shatchery, sshipyard
In common\starbase_modules: beastport, hatchery, shipyard, vivarium_tank
In common\starbase_levels: starbase_level_voidworm_nest

This mod overwrites most of those files with empty code (excluding the shipyard and sshipyard which need some code carried over from vanilla), causing the breakages you're experiencing.

Edit: There also seems to be a UI issue with beastport UIs not disappearing when other starbase tabs are selected and overlaying over the tabs such that nothing can be selected, but I haven't figured out a solution to that yet.

Edit 2: Ignore me. Uninstalled and reinstalled Stellaris and everything seems to work now.
