Fix Suggestion thread.
If you find any model that might need a fix, paste it here.
Preferably with a picture of the thing that is broken, so I can see exactly what you mean.

If you play on low settings, let me know. Sometimes models have holes on lower graphical settings because they load a "lod" model.

Things currently on list:
  • props_plants/plantsdead01_rifled.mdl - normals on LOD. Large model, will mess up lighting.
  • models/ghostanim.mdl - make invisible (hesitant about this, might make separte addon)
  • C130 LOD models (Apparently has holes, couldn't find any)
  • models/props_vehicles/boat_fishing02.mdl - Left half UV (texture doesn't have any good spots i can steal uv from without it looking even worse)

The line in the texture you fixed actually wasn't the lines I was talking about. I was talking about the visible rectangular texture seam around the words Burger Tank and to the right of the words food drink: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2756426708

well that is caused by the uvmap. since the texture only has "one side" of the sign, the backside of the sign must have the uvmap flipped in places to actually look good.

Fixing that is harder, because I need to either edit the texture enough so there's no visible texture to make a seam obvious.
The bottom part on the red is easier, but the top part will be harder.
on the sewer's map i think the construction lift number's under it is flipped the wrong way

Hi! I always notice that in the first map of the parish, when you are under the first "waterfront market", the first roof you go under, there is this "wall" that goes semi transparent when you look back to where you came from:

I tested it with no addons and in high settings, and it doesn't appear, not until you look at it from the other side of the street, near the first car. I think it's a optimization lod thingy, but what confuses me is that I don't think I have mod that alter the map, or the models/props, just this prop fix addon is the one that makes changes like that but it is not the cause of that lod thing from the image of the link, nor is the textures mod that I use.
I tested those alone and at the same time, but they don't cause the problem with that prop, so, when I have my favorite bunch of addons active, then it happens. What I noticed from more recent testing, is that, while you are under the roof and look near the LOD wall, at some point near or on it, you can see how it appears and disapears whether your crosshair is over some box trigger or off. It also happens to the other open side, same lod thing when you are going up the first ramp on the spawn.
So, if you are interested, give it a look and let me know if there is something that can be fixed or just know what can cause it.

I see, well, so it doesn't have to do with the "waterfront martek" building, and whatever I have is making a mess with that.

yea, sadly it's just valve using the wrong distance fade settings for that brush.

that's not a model that's the map. it's brushwork.
That's just a massive oversight on TRS's site that i cannot fix without recompiling the entire map
Is it possible to replace the platform in the corresponding position with a image? Don't need models or other map editing. Overlay the image directly?

i still need to recompile the map to add it. Besides, there is no actual model or texture that would work
dude will you edit the animation of survivors? When Zoey dies, the corpse's hair keeps spinning.

her hair is a jigglebone, which is not part of the animations.
