Project AHO

Project AHO is a gorgeous mess
Since there's no place to do a review of this I might aswell post it here and hear some thoughts different from mine, cause my thoughts about this mod are definitely not the best. Let me start with the good stuff, this mod caught my eye immediately because of its Morrowind aesthetic, TESIII was my first elder scrolls so I have a lot of sentiment from the game, and AHO is perfect in its ambience, style and overall feeling (God I love the soundtrack).
But, my love for this project ends there, the quests feel like a gigantic slog with many being simple fetch and deliver quests, with NPCs that aren't particularly interesting and the very few that are couldn't treat you worse. The way the questline starts aswell is extremely frustrating as it removes complete control from the player and in a blind playthrough might aswell be kind of unnavoidable, you just stumble upon it and the mod grabs you by the legs and takes you away.
And before anyone starts "Oh you're being kidnapped to be sold into slavery, of course you'll have no control and be caught be surprise", yes but the mod never made that premise clear, I'm 100% fine with being forced into these situations in a game like Kenshi where having low or no control over your future IS THE GAME but I definitely didn't expect this from AHO.

Also this is not the mods fault and I take all the blame for it, but please hear me out when I say:
Don't play AHO with difficulty mods if you aren't at least level 35-40~, I fell down this rabbit hole at level 17 with a sub-optimal build (playing with Wildcat and Ordinator) and BOY did I get my teeth kicked in, it got to the point were everything was extremely frustrating: NPCs, quests, exploration, dialogue etc... Even the atmosphere couldn't hold me in it anymore and I ended up mudering all important NPCs and fleeing Sadrith Kegran with big bounty on my head with no plans to come back.

TLDR: This mod is beautiful and its soundtrack is one of the best I've heard from a mod, but apart from that it is not a fun experience especially if you use other mods alongside it.

(English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistakes).
