whoever new to this mod dont hesitate anymore just click subscribe already, you wont regret it !
I lost any interest in what AHO actually was the second time I had to make tea and get yelled at for it. If the creators want to play this up, give the dragonborn some real chance for revenge, maybe killing the tree so the whole city will slowly die, or an option to capture and sell the populace into slavery themselves for their actions, that would be worthwhile. As it stands, this like playing Lonesome Road on New Vegas in slow motion, only there's two dozen Ulysses-es pestering you and there's no cute robot friend to take an edge off.
The only reason I'm sticking with this mod is actually the Chess perk. THAT'S the real gold of this mod, Three summons and basically a permanent 10% to damage reduction, SUPER powerful!
Overall, I'm saying it's a solid 6 of 10. Great visuals, good homes and equipment... but a story that feels off, odd premise, a small size when so much more could've been done, and an absolute overabundance of foes.
I mean this is good , but
Sounds like it could be a conflict with other Mods or other Software connected to Skyrim,or maybe even some kind of Hardware Issue.
I was also Followig Delphine to Kyneshaim(or whatever),with an abnormally high Amount of Random Ecounters.
It was also a bit Jarring to play the Game in German and the some Crazy Fucker Runs up to you and talks to you in English, then Bashes you on the Head in Full Sight of Delphine and Lydia, yet either of them fails to do anything, with Lydia simply leaving my Company.Guys, what the fuck?
If you think you can just abduct the Solar Dovahkiin and use her as a bag of meat, you're wrong. Let Sadith Kegran be the example, representative of the high cost for crossing the Dovahkiin.
In all seriousness, thanks for putting an actual startpoint to the mod instead of foisting the slaver on us. Makes this mod finally enjoyable and exciting, and allows you to finally do some much-needed levelling.
On third-party sites there, but not in the Steam Workshop
You could've done a better intro than that, dude with the Dovahkiin accidently getting themselves into an agreement which puts them into slavery (i.e. them getting tricked into a shoddy deal). It doesn't help that I CTD'd immediately after the intro. lol
That's just salt upon wounds and it happened in front a ton of guards and a companion. Very immresion breaking.
Overall, this mod just left me feeling disappointed that all that awesome work put into making its world look and feel pretty was ultimately wasted on a poorly designed and hastily written questline that only ultimately nets you a home that fast travels to a few preset Dwemer Ruins around Skyrim.
