Suggestions
Write all ideas you have that you think can improve this mod.
Changes in numbers; new mechanics; etc.
Also for mechanics, tell me if you have any idea of the game files where they're located at.

Do not ask for graphical mods or changes, that require programming knowledge, I know nothing about modelling or programming; I'm just messing with the existing game files :)

It would be great if this mod would work with humanoid ships.

That is a different problem unfortunately, I have not created any new ship modells, just made the old ones available again. In the humanoid and plantoid DLC, the developers unfortunately only made ship modells for those sections, that are still available. (Originally there were 6 bow and 6 mid sections for battleships.)
I can only say as a 'solution' to use other races or use graphical mods, that include the old ship sections too. I have absolutely no experience with graphic designing.
I might try to remove the old sections fom the mod and try to use the currently available sections for more than one weapon setup, since it's more or less already made with the spinal mount.
