Are they both going to shoot lasers?
Just a question, and concerned for Mule Molester. I'm really tired of the whole shotgun pellet ordeal and I want variety from my primaries.

i think that the saboteur ml shoot lazers but not fast

I've always pictured the Mule Molestor firing quick bits of electric/lazery/zig-zaggy thunder, which disappear at a range. I came up with some weird stat suggestions on SPUF which seemed a bit too far out. I called the projectiles thunderbits.

Personally, I can't picture the Mules Molestor 600 shooting a slow projectile, like the Pomson's.

It could be a hit-scan weapon though. Kinda like that lightning gun in quake.
If you aim it, it can hit him.
I'm expecting the "Does not require ammo" and the four clips thing.
It would be nice if it could have some damage bonus, too. I'm thinking 25%.

The downside really should be "Cannot Double Jump" since this primary weapon Mule Molestor could be very powerful.

What do you guys think?
I think you can help ease the "no double jump" with winger or atomizer.

I think 25% is a bit too much. You'd basically be able to 1-hit 125 hp classes with meatshots.

I've been trying to think stats for the gun too. I thought of a "telejump" ability, to somehow be able to get short teleports after a kill or capturing a point, with a bunch of details. I liked the idea, but it was too complex and a bit of a mess in terms of stats. and telefragging would be too sweet/horryfying.
both weapons will probably have low projectile velocity, like the other energy weapons

I think the Mule Molester should have an attack-range like the Short Circuit, and the Saboteur attack range and projectile speed of the manmelter. That's just me.
