What is the Difference Between Tainted Paths and Medieval Conquest?

I noticed these two mods were by the same creator and I was wondering if there are any major differences between the two. Both mods seem incredible and i can't wait to play with one of them but first i need to know if they are different.

One thing I noticed about Medieval Conquest is you desperately need persuasion... without it constantly maxed... you will lose troops left and right... beyond that I didn't spend much time with it... like this one it has a great concept but I feel the execution was not thought out enough...
