money is generated as time goes on atleast...as a king..i haven't tried the adventurer part yet..but from what i can tell... money generated in towns are based on the buildings there an there expenses.
i haven't figured out how to 'upgrade' troops, or rename them yet -if possible- so far the mod seems rather ambitious but nothings really explained well...
and there seems to be some issues with the troop commands because even using the V menu to try an command/move troops it doesn't seem to work
i don't mind the complexity.
but it definitely needs something to explain a few of its mechanics like the whole city buildings thing, and the 'equipment' window since....i'm not sure what the perk is in building one building over another . >.> or what the equipment window actualyl does
When it comes to building in a fief you must click on the tile where you want to build on (Bottom-Left Panel) and then pick the building you want from the panel on the Bottom-Right. it is important to note that certain tiles cannot be built on or only allows certain buildings. An example is Hills, this only allows the construction of mines on it. while plains will not allow mines to be built on it. if a message comes up stating "not enough build points" click on Hasten on the top right (this costs money to do so).
this is some of the basics i have figured out playing this mod.
To actually start recruiting troops you must first click war preparation in the Town interface. once you have clicked that there will be a button saying recruit and when pressed you will wait in town watching your army size getting bigger. Army size is maxed at 7000 at the start of the game and each owned fief increases it by 500.
when you have an army (In war preparation) the troops in your army represent the ratios of the troops you have in your army. For example if you have 50 infantry, 30 archers and 20 cavalry, 50% of the army will be infantry and 30% will be archers and 20% will be cavalry roughly.
when your army is stationed, the troops that remain with you function in the same way as in native warband. each soldier is an individual and will be the exact count as there are in your "non-army". this group will be the ones that fight bandits and small groups even if you have your full army with you.
sorry if couldn't exactly answer the question.
go to war with someone, if your not a leader of a faction , then you need to make the faction dislike you
