Great Concept, Terrible Execution....
Great concept, but terrible execution... if you want to do the main quest you almost have to be adventurer or similar(Merchant, bandit, pirate...), if you're tied to a faction, you'll be under constant attack due to war status accordingly... On top of that, some of the parts require you to go miles away from wherever you currently are, sometimes even back and forth in that manner... as an Adventurer(no compass btw, so that "able to use compass" bit is bs...not that you need it...) I had to go from a place in Southern Europe near North Africa all the way over to what would be Persia depending on time frame(I had it set to I think chaotic era? basically mixed...) and upon finding the ruins, had to return, followed by going all the way to near Jerusalem... it was kind of a mess... glad I chose Adventurer this time around though... first game I was a loyal vassal... I didn't get far before I pulled the plug on that game... also the ratio system for troops is a bit annoying to try and balance out... I generally run 1 archer for every 2 infantry and 1 cav for every 1 archer, this ratio tends to be fairly well balanced out, however in this I'm not even sure what a good ratio is, because I have only had 1 real battle since changing over to Adventurer(as vassal I did a few sieges, but nothing else since the lords were all rolling 8k armies fully kitted out, hell the sieges I did were the same... pity the sieges are all random and some are completely broken, archers shooting through and standing inside of walls makes it very hard to see/target/etc... them while waiting for a breach to occur... while I only had the heavy armor and about 6k army at best... could of had more but didn't quite understand the system at play at first...) and that was assaulting a fort... oh and said fort's leader? yeah... 2 damage per hit no matter what hit it... so he took forever to die while he was slaughtering my army... fun times...

well, i think it was executed pretty well, as for units, the units work as in, one man, is around 80-100 men of the exact same class and rank, so a vanguard is "100 vanguards" obviouslyt it doesnt show this but the men dont die and the army does as a placeholder, so its pretty good army wise.

Should be a ratio based on your composition, aka if you roll just a singular archer, your whole army should be just archers, not 1 man only converts so many of your army into that unit type...

The armour and weaponry was good, but the gameplay was bad.
Melee combat was bad.
