Interesting behaviour between Host and Players
Hey all, Firstly, thank you for the fantastic setup of this! Been having a blast.

Noticing an issue with myself and a few friends who have been playing and apologies if this has been asked or resolved before! Did try to search but couldnt find anything.

When using the game setup menu to set up scenarios, or opening doors in a scenario, occasionally the tiles for some of my players (But not all) end up either being misaligned, or not loading in the correct tile at all.

For example: We had just done Scenario 93 in which the last tile was meant to load the B3a tile, for myself (As host) and one of the players, this loaded correctly.
However for the other two players, Tile B3b loaded instead and was also disconnected from the rest of the tiles.

This has also caused the issue in the past where monsters dont align with the hexes correctly (In both configurations of vertical / horizontal hex grids).

My first thoughts were perhaps Mod Caching. We play in a number of gloomhaven games with multiple hosts, to which the thought of whether version differences between the hosts could cause caching issues on the mod assets perhaps?

If anyones experienced this or has any idea on what could be the cause please let us know!

Much appreciated

P.S we also encountered the issue where for one of my players had the Shield and Target icons of a particular enemy overlapping which may lend itself as extra info towards this

if you mean the host never have this problem like for us, then it is the sync issue. to much in to short time happens for the connection i think. i get this problem less with a better internet connection.
i will try a workaround in the future.

Ah would make sense. I assume its also CPU dependant? (350Mbps) NL based connection here which averages around 15ms to the other players in the UK.

However the CPU is an older I5 which would make sense

I have had this happen a few times with my friends who have computers that are a little more obsolete. We've also had it where only half the map tile is visible and the rest is stuck inside the table. What has worked for us is if we unlock the map tile that is incorrect, the correct one will show up on their end. After they see the tile, we then re-lock the map tile.

One thing to note is that this will make any doors that are connected to it be sloped and your minis will likely fall off of them. It looks to me like this is because the original spawn for the tiles is a little bit above the table, so when you unlock it'll be a little lower than the spawned ones. You'll have to keep unlocking and re-locking tiles (and the doors) to get minis to stand on them.

For reference, I'm the only one who hosts. Also, I wanted to add that the mod is fantastic and this (to me very minor) issue is the only one I've seen with any frequency.

I'll add my voice to this - generally it will happen for a tile or two in scenario setup. Sometimes it spawns 4 times the size it should be (massive coin was fun), or oriented the wrong way, or something like that. As mentioned above, unlocking and then re-locking tends to solve the problem.

If any more information would be useful let me know.

On my computer (as the host) it has always looked perfect. Is there any kind of workaround to tell the others to re-sync or anything?

If something like this happens for the games I host, the affected player just leaves the game, goers back into TTS Main Menu and rejoins my game. that usually does the trick.
