Now, if a card with a decal is in a deck, it may look like it has lost the enhancement, but when you hold Alt to get a closer look, it should still be there. And shuffling it in a deck seems to mess with it a little bit, but as long as you draw the card face up from a deck, it should bring the enhancement back.
If you would rather not risk losing the enhancements, you can modify the JPG file of the deck the card comes from in MS Paint or whatever, and then import that modified image into TTS as a deck and replace the unenhanced card with the enhanced one, being sure to rename it to exactly what the old card was. It is a much more involved process and is probably unnecessary, but it is an option.
-Drag Condition Tokens (Poison, Muddle, etc) on top of monster tokens. It will add to their HP bar. Click icon to remove it.
-Round Counter Settings in Notepad option in top bar
-Additional backups behind the rulebook
-Instead of deleting Road and City Event cards, set them near the top of the board in case you want to reference them later.
-Backup your game between missions using a free companion app in case of mod or TTS updates
-Left click to remove stickers from the Campaign map
-Use CTRL + 1, 2, 3, 4, etc to save camera angles (card play area, map area, character area, monster area left, monster area right, etc). You can use SHIFT + 1, 2, 3, 4 to return to frequent camera angles quickly. (Turns start at Camera #0)
-Some maps in Gloomhaven are vertical hexes and some are horizontal. Use will see this immeditely in scenario 1 vs 2. You can toggle horizontal or vertical hex reading in the native TTS settings
* Load your current game
* Make a note or take a screen shot of the current prosperity track on the world map and all checked off scenarios as the check marks won't be copied over
* Unlock the World Map and Delete it (will allow you to select stickers)
* Save the following objects one at a time (rename if needed):
- Each Player's ability cards, items, modifier cards and character sheet (be sure to grab all the unlocked and locked cards as well). You should be able to save all as one "object" if you place them near each other and use drag select.
- Party Sheet
- Shop Offer Deck
- Any Item decks that you have modified in your game (or just all of them)
- Active Road Event Deck
- Discarded Road Deck (if you didn't just delete them when you drew them)
- Active City Event Deck
- Discarded City Event Deck (if you didn't just delete them when you drew them)
- City Events 31-61 Deck
- Road Events 31-61 Deck
- Personal Quests Deck
- Location Crate (bottom right of World Map)
- Location Stickers placed on the Map (ALT + Drag Box to multiselect, will need the World Map deleted for this)
- Global Achievement Stickers (ALT + Drag Box to multiselect, will need the World Map deleted for this)
- Treasure Index Deck (if removed from Unlockable Contents Chest)
- Unlocked Treasure Cards drawn from the Index Deck
* Start a new game from the latest Mod version
* Delete the following items:
- Character Setup Tiles for any saved characters
- Party Sheet
- Shop Offer Deck
- Any Item decks you modified in your game
- All City and Road Event Decks
- Personal Quests Deck
- Location Crate
* Spawn each of your saved objects using the Objects -> Saved Objects menu. They will respawn in their prior locations
* Set the prosperity track and checked off scenarios on the world map
Edit: Yeah that worked. I'm not sure what I did different the first time. I'll update the steps. Thanks.
Is it safest to disable auto-updates to avoid save game incompatibility once you start a campaign? I saw the post above about converting saved games but I would rather only do that once every few updates or after a major update (like the recent scripting one (which is amazing btw, TY)).
How do you tell the game that you've defeated all of the enemies of a certain type?
Thanks!
Edit: We should probably keep this thread to just the tips and tricks and post questions in the comments section.
it is only for new games
