Noob question while trying to set up a first scenario.

When I try to use the scripted character setup or scenario setup, I get this error, and it doesn't load in the "play area" board. It does load most of the other stuff (monsters, room tiles etc).

The error I get:
Load image failed unsupported format: UNKNOWN

Anyone run into this before?
