Apologies for asking a simple question - I'm so new here I don't even know how to search through these discussions to find if this has already been answered. My Town Records book has no red dot to turn pages - can only set states to turn pages. That's actually fine, but I cannot type anything into the "retired characters" page.

Is there a way to set state of the Town Records to allow me to type into the retirement page? If so, what's the process?
