Why is there a Remove Player?
Just wondering why is there a big "REMOVE PLAYER" button above each of the character sheets? Is there a way to delete that button so we don't accidentally delete our own characters? Or does it actually do something else? Just wondering if we can get rid of that button. For now, our playgroup just threw the buttons in some random corner of our table...

it is so you can pack all the stuff from a player in a box easily... so you can start a new character and this is also the button to get the playermats so you can use the auto setup. if you delete them or change position, it can make problems for the automatic unpack the characters

Although I'd certainly agree that it's in a location that's too easy to accidentally click, I don't think deleting it would be a good idea.

We've accidentaly clicked it several times.

I did it because I moved my cards about where the button was, because I wasnt quite ready to commit them to the play mat yet.

Then trying to pick em up, I clicked that button instead.

Its a horrible position for it, thats all, I agree its needed.

you could use the gizmo tool to change the position when you click it on the far edge. but i dont know where would be a good position. it must not to be in the player zone.

Is it possible to add a confirmation dialog? I too have accidentally clicked this when moving camera all around an barely missing what I meant to click on.

I have to admit I have never accidentally clicked this, but a confirmation dialog sounds like an excellent idea. Something much like deleting the scenario and monsters.

The Remove Player, button is in the same place as the Add Player button, I won't change it`s position since for me it`s the only logical place where that needs to be, however we might add a pop-up to confirm removing that player, though I never clicked it by mistake.

tbh. The placement is good for our group. Played with 5 other player and we never clicked it by mistake.

Well I disagree that its the only logical placement.
A setup meny would be better.

@Lowlife555, when you go on a website and click a button that changes into another button, for example an ADD/REMOVE button, do you see the second button changing it`s position? Wouldn't that be counter intuitive? Btw I`m a UI/UX designer and I know what I`m talking :)

We've definitely clicked it by accident when trying to grab persistent cards, etc. And when you first unbox your character it spawns right in front of that button.
Not complaining, just confirming it does happen. It is in a logical place for a new game setup, and adding a confirmation like the door opening wouldn't help the 2nd time you accidentally click it. Could it just be slid up a smidge so it's in line with the "Add Play Area Button"?
You guys have done an amazing job scripting everything!!!

Yes Gabriel, its a logical placement, but not the only one.

If you insist on having it there, fort the love of god, make a "are you certain you want to pack up a character?" You can even have it non defaulted, and make an option for us to turn on that warning

I've used this mod for 15+ scenarios now, and still click it occasionally by accident.
