#Character has no Initiative!
Hi,

My save game is bugged: the player one position always says: "Brute has no Initiative!". This goes for any character in the slot even if the card is set in the right area. All other players work. The first player always also has to take a long rest. If he does - it works AND the original initiative is in the tracker as well.

What do I do?

upload a save somewhere so i can test... i am not sure atm...

I transfered the save to a new game - that did the trick. Thanks though! Do you still want the save?

i found the problem in the script, that i will fix in the next update, that sets the size for checking for the card to very small. and because of your play area mat is slightly tilted the first slot is slightly to low. you can fix it by yourslefe by removing the play area mat and place it again or by changing the rotation of it with the gizmo tool. should have the rotation {0.00, 180.00, 0.00}

My buddy and I were just hitting the long rest button every time and then when we 'rolled for initiative' it would show our 99s but also our card iniative so we just ignored the 99s. Good to see there is a fix though. Thanks for the update.

Fixing the rotation isn't getting it for me, neither is getting a new play area - any other options?

I'm also having this issue and the rotation is correct. I'm guessing this is popping up again because of the TTS update maybe?

This just started for us today, it was definitely working fine two weeks ago and I'm pretty sure we didn't move the Play Area mat (it is locked). Any suggestions?

BTW this mod is great, we've been enjoying it greatly since our physical game is stuck in quarantine!

(I did try to set the rotation to 0,180,0 with the gizmo tool -- it was very slightly off -- but that didn't help.)

Perhaps the other settings on the gizmo tool would help? I don't know what the right ones are because I'm in the same boat.:lunar2019scowlingpig:

I get the same thing. if everyone hits "long rest" and start round, your initiative tracker is still tracked. So this is still playable as the initiative tracker is working.

The fact that the game board is Tracking the initiative in this way, means that the location of the card is correct.. there must have been a change in the latest TTS update that broke something.

please fix? or else alternatively I must transfer everything to a new game (using bags..) is there a faster way to do this?

I did encounter the same problem, and did manage to fix it. You will have to go to:

Modding -> Scripting -> Lua -> Global.

On the script, look for the line 'function reveal()' and below that 'for color, x in pairs(colorToPlayer) do'. Few lines below that, you'll spot a parameter size, which you should set to {1,1,1}.

This is fixed in the newer versions of the board, but if like me you are having and older one and not willing to change yet, this one did fix the problem at least for me!
