Help with Playing Remote and Player Initiatives
Since we're unable to meet in person for the time being, my play group decided to try meeting over Zoom to play a game. I found the easiest thing to do was to set it up in Tabletop Simulator and share the screen with my group. Since we were only using a single copy, I simply moved characters where each player told me to go (annotate function came in handy for this) and then performed the action they wanted to perform for them in the game. In this setup, we cannot easily all secretly pick cards to put into the play area and "flip", but we happened to have our physical cards with us, so each person just had their deck and announced what they had.

The system actually worked great, and we were basically able to play normally. I was just wondering if there was a way to manually enter in initiatives for the characters, since "Start Round" does not seem to work unless you have cards picked out. Luckily, drawing cards manually for the monsters actually worked great and their initiatives showed up. We just had to remember what our initiatives were instead of having them viewable in the game, much like we would in person, but still would be nice to hit the "Start Round" button and have everything drawn automatically and just add in the player's initiatives manually. Is there any way to do this?

Thank you!

the easiest would be to set cards (any) at the slots for the player. and change the ini on the cards. it is the part in () it has to be 2 digits.
so grab 2 cards for each class an lay them down. when they tell you the ini you can change the name to the ini and it should work

I thought I had responded to this, but wanted to let you know this works GREAT. We've been playing nearly every week with this and it's been fantastic. Thank you!
