Occupied Homeworld Species
Hi, I made an empire with the Occupied Homeworld civic, but the secondary species aren't there, there is just the main species, how can i fix that?

It works on my end. Are you using any other mods?

Yes, what file could possibly conflict with the secondary species?
I've read something along the coments about ethics and civics (which I use too) but I don't know how to detect conflicts

The scripted effect that adds secondary species pops is "generate_start_pops". Any mods that add more civics and origins seem like a good place to start; try disabling them one at a time and see if the problem persists. Let me know when you find the culprit.

Hi Mzilli!! I found that the mod ethics and civics also has a file named start_of_game_effects that causes the conflict, similar to the conflict that this mod has with the mod Forgotten Queens, the same type of file. Do you know how to make a compatibility patch and what tool would help me? My knowledge of modding only reaches the part of adding some lines or deleting some. Ethics and civic is like a complicated mod for me bc I once deleted a line of a text file trying to change the rqueriment of a civic and just bc of that line I ruined the whole mod (and game) once LOL so I only see the solution of making a patch which I fail to understand.

You could ask that mod's author to make a compatibility patch, I think it would just be a line or two of code. Unfortunately I can't do it because it looks like their mod adds a lot of features and I wouldn't be able to keep up with their updates.

Hi mzilli i used irony mod manager (bc that was the only answer i got) and i fixed the issue, haven't tested it long enough but now secondary species do spawn. As far as im concerned i just added some lines on the start_of_game_effects files and that's it.

Manco, what was the code you used? I'm having a similiar issue I'm having trouble solving?
