The timeline is deliberately somewhat vague, but there are a few canonical references in the campaigns.
Antumbra Saga: Ends in mid-2053. Probably begins sometime during 2052, but it could range from a couple of months to a few years.
The Caldecott Caper: Occurs in late 2056 or early 2057.
CalFree in Chains: Starts in November 2061, goes through at least February 2062 but ends sometime before June 2062.
There are some online sources available at Fandom[shadowrun.fandom.com] and wikidot[denver.wikidot.com]. If you'd like to dive deeper, the relevant source books are California Free State[www.drivethrurpg.com] for Antumbra Saga and The Caldecott Caper, and Year of the Comet[www.drivethrurpg.com] and Threats 2[www.abebooks.com] for CalFree in Chains.
Cheers!
Thank you thank you thank you and I totally owe you a review at some point. I've played all three campaigns numerous times.
That's great actually! If Antumbra happens *before* Dragonfall and DMS that'd be good incentive to do it first!
(Aside from the fact that one of my two most loyal readers is Californian himself and absolutely tickled at the concept of Emperor Norton appearing in a game of any kind.)
My humble beginnings. Thanks again for the help.
I ended up leaning very heavily on my memory and this -- http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/game-resources/shadowrun-timeline/
My other series (still ongoing) is actually a Crusader Kings 2 playthrough. Before that I started with a Mass Effect playthrough on Youtube: I used the old Youtube annotations before they took those away. After I lost the annotations I burned out for awhile until the end of last year.
Most of my core readers/viewers hadn't played either so I got very used to having to explain what was going on in great detail. Then the snark crept in, and one thing led to another and before I knew what was going on, I had a 'style'.
My biggest concern/worry right now is effectively translating turn based combat and scripted events into screenshots (I actually thought of the sequence in Calfree where a particular character clutches its stomach, hunches over and explodes bloodily... or a similar sequence in Caldecott).
Confession though: I don't usually post this frequently. Between this and CK2, I normally aim for once a week. But I've had a rush of inspiration and I want to keep a decent pace as long as I can.
