The ability to own and launch your own, to transport pawns and cargo across the planet map! Imagine landing your own dropship and just like going "okay everyone break out the picks and the turrets, we're settin up camp"

Diversify the kind of ships that can turn up! While you do have a contract with MiningCo, you could possibly upgrade it to accept more kinds of traffic, maybe you could invest in your landing pad by researching and attaching various objects to allow it to accept varied traffic - A nearby silo to accomodate agricultural freighters, a baggage module that would enable tourist parties to drop off spacer guests, so on and so forth.

Contract work? You could have some kind of yearly or monthly production quota to meet for a certain shipment and recieve slightly higher rates per item, but lose the contract if you don't fulfil it.

I'll be honest, I'm not even sure how plausible these things are for adding into Rimworld, but after downloading your mod and watching a ship land in the centre of my base, I figured if anyone could it'd likely be you. Amazing mod :)

The ability to build rep with this faction by nursing drop podded pawns back to health and returning them either as little lost lambs or in chains as wanted criminals.

how about you put other mining compines that try and compeat over land and they try to gain your favor to give them claims to land that has minerals. =)

being able to buy something such as a smoke grenade that you could use during a raid to signal for extract the in bound time could vary and only stay for a certin amount of time before having to take off maybe even help suppressing fire? just some ideas ?

I would strongly agree with the ability for us to use the ship as a large drop pod almost that is reusable but requires fuel!

I think the awnser for most the comments so far is a complete conversion or overhaul of RimWorld.

yeah I just want to agree: I really want a flyable dropship for your pawn. Destroying bases and purging the planet isn't really fun with vanilla mechanics. Too long downtimtes

we should get a random event where a random space co ship of any kind lands, in need of fuel. The ship will do its function, paid or for free (emergency landing medic shiip will heal for free, while traders will trade) and if you give them x amount of chemfuel u can get silver)

Allow more tradeable items? Maybe like utilize the orbital trade beacon in the same way that orbital ships work.
