Yeah, it keeps saying that there is a newer version, but mine is already at 2.7!

Unfortunately, this is out of my reach and rather related to Steam or L4D2.
You might need to wait a bit in menus for the game to detect the map or maybe launch/quit the game a few times.

Also, this worked on a few other mods: uninstall, launch l4d2 and wait for it to finish loading mods, close l4d2, install Tanks Playground, launch l4d2,
(hopefully) profit!
