Hey, just following up on your comment. The campaign originally had many mods loaded, about 15 different map packs, so I assumed they were conflicting. However, I tried Playing the campaign several times over with different ones enabled and disabled, until I finally tried it with just Tal'Ahnrir enabled and that's when I worked out that it was causing the problem.

If I have no mods enabled, it works fine - character creation loads and works as it should for my players. If I have any/every mod except Tal'Ahnrir enabled, it still works fine. If I have Tal'Ahrir enabled, on its own or not, it doesn't work at all. What happens is I click Play Campaign and the campaign loads for me and my players. Upon loading character creation, instead of seeing the character creation screen, instead we all see this strange featureless map - the players don't have the character creation interface and can't do anything except move the camera. According to the minimap in my GM view, the map is called SYS_Character_Creation_A.

From the players' perspectives, they see their naked characters from above and can, as aforementioned, move their cameras around, but that's it. They can't control anyone. If I go to load another map, it tells me that the party hasn't finished character creation yet and that I need to wait. If I Play the campaign on my own as GM with no players, the same problem occurs. If I then try loading another map then clicking 'Reroll Characters', I get an error window pop up that says the following;

ERROR
Level with name 'P

That's literally all it says. I've put together an Imgur album here to illustrate the problem (https://imgur.com/a/6mF4T). I've also tried creating a new campaign where Tal'Ahnrir is the only mod ever used, and the problem is still present. Because the players can't create characters or do anything but move their cameras around this strange SYS_Character_Creation_A map, it's unplayable.

I do still want to say that the map itself is gorgeous and fantastically well-made, but I'm just not sure why we're facing this issue. I hope this can be fixed. Thanks for taking the time to look into the issue.

Steam seems to have removed the Imgur link, so I've sent you a friend request to DM the link to you.

A quick question was this the first Scene they start at? Might be a idea to place in a default scene the characters start in (anything will do for this test) then "Travel / Load" Tal'ahnrir as the second scene? Concerning installed mods while running this scene I had 37 Mods out of a possible 75 running. Ranging from class mods, Extra maps, Status etc. If needed can list out but I do not think this could be the issue.

Ramz, it was nothing to do with any loaded scenes. The Character Creation appears before any scenes can even be loaded by the GM. Thankfully, Vons' latest update appears to have fixed the problem. :)

Hi Vons and thanks for the great map! I added this to a pin in my campaign some weeks ago. I started adding my creatures and such. Then I didn't build on my campaign for a while. Today I was gonna continue and the map was no longer attached to the pin. The scene was gone. I loaded up your map to the pin again and started over, only to find I couldn't use the vulcano cave's bottom floor. It just said "There is not enough space" and I couldn't move there. I can put a creature there, but not move it afterwards.

I looked at the issue you were having and somewhat able to reproduce it. Here is what I think the issue is, but please correct me if i'm wrong.

The locations in which you were trying to place a creature was either in the lava or on a steep slope (Or an edge of a platform). This is intentional since I wanted to make the lava appear more dangerous than the lava surface that you can place. So I blocked off these areas. This means that the player is forced to walk across the predetermined path or teleport/fly over bits. But I understand that you might want lava monsters to walk across it. I'm going to rework it slightly and update it later today. This does mean that you likely have to re-add the level again. But that's something the game does with almost every update you push. I hope that adresses your issue.

Thanks for your reply. No, it is not that. I cannot place any creature on any surface down there. Not by the throne or anything. And the creatures that are already there, the troll, fire incarnates and sentinel, if I try to move them I cannot place them down again (not even on the same spot where they first stood) - it says "There is no space" in red.

That's curious. I was not able to reproduce that issue if that's the case. I did redo it a little bit and just submitted it. So you might have better luck now.

Ok, thanks. Ill test.The strange thing was when I first subscribed to it and started working in it, everything worked fine. I could walk down there and place creatures as expected. Then a few weeks passed, and I think it got updated, and then it was no longer bound to the pin - and when I started over with a new one, it had this issue in the vulcano cave.

YES! It worked now! Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

I definitely will. It is a wonderfully made map which fits perfect for my campaign.
