Idea for additional aliens
I'm not going to throw the entire burden on you, but I have been thinking about pushing myself into the modding scene and maybe building some more races. At the moment I'm still learning, but thinking of adding races from Farscape that could compliment this mod.

Out of curiosity how did you manage to pain the alien parts for species like Turians, Salerians and so on?

Most of the models used in this were made by Kexx, one of the best model porters (as well as makers) the modding community has. Reality then coded in special abilities for each race and made them their own thing.

Cavity's likely to get one or two of his added in, but he still has a ways to go before he hits Kexx's level of detail, which is really something you want in a Race pack (case in point, Cavity's Batarians don't even have eyes, and Thane's mouth can't move).

his best currently is probably his prothean pack, though some work to try and make the eyes blink and the mouth open a little would help. rigging is a @!#$%&, but the better a Race pack looks, the more it'll catch on.

Interesting, Interesting.

I'm still interested in learning, but first I want to start making voicepacks and etc before I bring in other kinds of races. I have lots of new ideas and the only reason I haven't installed XCOM 2 since I pre-loaded it is because of how awesome these mods are and how they've completely changed the game, especially making the most difficult mode far more fair, especially as I made it unfair with additional enemies that have extra abilities, psionic abilities and so on turning the hardest difficulty into an impossible challenge.

@RealityMachina is or can vipers be an option to recruit? or even modded ones like the valentine and the flame or armored ones?

Can you make the classical aliens (muton, sectoid,....) because exepte the viper, i whant can play a cute sectoid with hevy-gun. :D

I plan on making playable aliens and this mod play nice together, while revamping their skill trees with new perks / abilities!

Its a great mod. Wish I was better at making models as I've got ideas for other aliens, additional factions and weapons.

Not sure if anyone is still looking at this, but getting a loadout ready for another LWotC run with this enabled so was checking discussion pages. I play with various character pools including Star Wars and Mass Effect themed. It'd be great to see chiss, wookies, zabrak, batarians, vorcha, etc. incorporated into this. Of course, know nothing about modding so no idea how difficult this may be.

Would love to see Avali (adorable fluffy feathered space raptors) and Sergals join the mix someday. Maybe even Protogens.

if anyone could get the Total Warhammer 2 Saurians into the ranks since I like the cosmetic mod and having Space Lizardman is really cool concept in Warhammer 40k/SciFi in general
