[bug] Gameplay issues
Possible bug; Stuffershack

During the stuffershack side event dealing with the Manager office - talked to Frank and selected stay low and went via the access vent (dwarf, bd3), hacked the matrix for data and took the memo from the desk. However, there is no option to leave the room. Can't interact with the vent, matrix or the door. Looks like there is a yellow panel behind the door but it can't be interected with either.

Had already interacted with the door from the otherside using quickness, str and paco options before talking to Frank.

Save and reload didn't help.

Interesting... The door should work normally while inside the office. Will give it a peek, see what's wrong with it.

Another issue i've just come across regarding conversation between player, ultra violet and River.

After gaining Hook data and going through initial Waterfront crimescene mission ultra vilot and River have conversation at Seamstress regarding getting it decoded and player offers to help later on.
After matrix run (DNA analysis) player gets to talk to ultra violet about the encrypted data, she says ask River. At this point River has no speech just blank panel.

After Institute run and taking down Ripper/Holmes, Ultra violet, River and player are back to the original conversation about the Hook data, decoding it and offereing help when she needs it.

Sounds like the conversation tracking variable got accidentlly reset... Fantastic. :\ Appreciate the note. Adding it to the buglist, so we can try to track it down.

River Fayes sidequest, grants no karma. I'm not sure if this is intended or not having seen it mentioned in the other thread (nominal reward) i'm guessing i missed the triggers.

Combat through to sub.
Peaceful Bluff and crate loaded 1st floor.
Matrix disabled turret and checkpoint. Left generator till later, but option vanished after combat. Killed gaurd an scientists, looted lockers/id card.
Let River handle the initial Spirit conversation and mentioned dolphin.
Killed everyone, released all spirits and drones killed them all. Took additional pay packet from matrix.
Gave decision to River, who said run. Returned to surface, without attacking or being attacked by tormented Spirit.
Tormented Spirit was killed by Paladin Grunt 1v1 on dockfront, Killed all Paladins and looted crates before leaving.
Got "sombre River, released a tormented spirit into the world" splash screen on load back into Seamstress Union.


Went to talk to River post mission and we're back to River and a Troll having discussion about Hook data decryption again. XD

Yup. Definitely sounds like that variable is being reset in there someplace... Not sure where yet.

Just done the Paco sidequest. Pleasant change of pace and difference of objective focus.

Is that quest complete or just a spaceholder/proof of concept? I ask this because there's no mission intro/extro description. No karma or material reward. Paco,Doc and Coyote don't have any follow up dialogues following successful completion. Killing or subduing all the cutters doesn't seem to make a difference.

Is this quest suppose to 'hook' into another mission ... "corporate bio-weapon investigation" or was the idea just a tie in to the BBS rumours regarding Seattle from HK.

I now have a duplicate of Paco's inventory in my stash, following that mission.

Having 'something' from Paco seems to disable the Player stash @ Union, once sold seems to right itself. Jacket/potato/drugs/bat - only the drone is unsellable.

There is no option to sell the pay data taken from Rivers sidequest, Fence wasn't available on return from mission, a few missions later he's available again but no dialogue.

Sorry for not putting this in the pinned thread soemhow completely overlooked it - feel free to merge it.

No worries. I'm suscribed to all the comments, so post it where ya like. :). The Paco gear duplication is a engine error... We know about it, but can't do anything with it.

Pacos side-run is complete. The not having an intro/quests is odd though. Subduing the cutters vs killing them.does actually have an effect of the main boss. He is pretty powerful, but gets a debuff for every cutter you subdue.

Not sure why they don't have anything to talk about after the quest though... The reward I believe is another (like rivers) trivial one... That apparently blends in. Will look into it.

What main boss?
Gangleader (warboss?) was killed before entering the upstaris where half the gang is/was.
The Pharmaboss i didn't find/meet... hacked the door then left without confronting the Corp Clean up crew.

It was a fun mission because Paco was the only stun capable member, my main having cyber-razors made everything explode even attempting stunning so quickly became an inert meatshield.

If it makes a difference i did both River then Paco sides in the interlude between Memorial Hospital and Cemetry main missions as this was 1st time they are available from taxi transition selection rather than the direct transition for previous runs.

1st Brotherhood mission.
janitors locker for disguise and keycard, if you take the keycard but not the uniform you can't re-open it at a later date. Janitor.
Dorm D? Uniform in locker - it fits! robes, system message regarding unable to wear disguise and Hud label workaround. Robes.
Dorm B uniform on Sisters bunk, if taken gets worn by the player, no system message and a change of appearance. Robes.

Edit:
The UltraViolet side / Renraku extraction. There's a typo on the Loading intro with regards to matrix security.

This run feels like it's missing closure dialogues. Post mission if one decides to go violet and charity case dialogue options and power for barrens. On return to seamstress union UV isn't there for conversation and Mistress K has no interaction available. Corporate John makes payment for Lab data and Karma so material rewards are there just not the RPG colour text.

After another run Mistress K, has dialogue about barrens being short on power following change in policy, but no option to update her on fact its already been solved. Feel like i should have had this conversation before doing U.V's Renraku extraction mission.

No it dropped them once i transitioned through the secret entrance in the kitchen.

I'm currently stuck in Corporate office... :( Been through the matrix and cleared it all out, done the security overide, cameras, voicemails private voicemails etc... Now i'm left with 3 locked doors a Lonestar team who won't engage and a missing interact for the personal office with the safe.

Are the locked doors related to tripping the alarm in the matrix? Most of the rooms have an ambush where the IC just pop up and take 2 turns each ~40trace minimum before player interaction so by third room alarm is going as supression is still on 8 turn timer.

Not sure why that occasionally happens. But it's driving me crazy. Restarting the scene usually fixes it. The same script that does the final tier in the matrix unlocks the door... And it ran, because the Lonestar guys showed up. Also the same script.

Just ran it again, this time the door didn't lock.
Differences in run:
Didn't kill 2 deckers in 1st room of matrix
Didn't set off alarm within the matrix
Cleared out the decker and activated cameras before accessing security override.

Game is stuck.
Can't interact with Sacrifice/Queen
Shamen was talked down, then beat down she used out of sequence heal and became a neutral for th rest of the fight.
All the bugs were killed and exorcised.
Two of the pillars were shut down within the fight but they all remain as enemy and immune to everything.

I can peacefully end the combat but then there's no interactions available and realtime is interupted by neutral taking their turn.

Yeah... It's got a weird glitch in there... Driving me crazy. May need to scrap and rebuild it. You can usually do the exact same thing with different results.

Sry missed your last post, forum didn't update while i was ingame.

I just tried "slaughter 255" but no avail.

jessica is running around as neutral, Sacrice is their but immune. top door is unmarked and original entrance is locked.

Objective is still set to "stop the ceremony"
