The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Moonpath to Elsweyr
My Review and Suggestions (too long for comments)
My take on this mod...

I've been playing since the game was released and have almost 800 hours logged through Steam. I have to say this is one of the better - if not one of the BEST - quest addons available to Skyrim. That being said...

The Dialogue - I am noticing that some of the spelling in captions does not match NPC names. Sometimes the captions don't match some of the words or phrases of the dialogue. Some characters' voices sound as though a low-quality mic or the audio is in 8-bit mono or 16-bit mono; muffled or otherwise recorded at a lower quality or over-compressed. STILL overall a 7 out of 10. I did use a music add-on because the overall game soundtracks can get boring after 10 hours of gameplay.

Map and Environment: I am AMAZED that this whole world fit in the basement of Dead Man's Drink :falkwreath: I think you should update this (or at least correct in future versions) to load a whole new area map, like Wyrmstooth and Solstheim. This will allow for a much more immersive environment and expand the region further. It is very odd that I can fast-travel OUT of Elsweyr to any landmark in Skyrim, but not to regions of Elsweyr from Skyrim. Understanding that this whole region is "indoors" I get the limitation but thematically this hinders the gameplay and gives the whole map a 'contained' feel which is counter-point to the whole game: An open, expansive environment full of interactions.

Gameplay: I find it hard to move around with a companion - often they are stuck on obstacles or pieces of the map which makes me have to double-back or "wait" for an hour to get them back. Inconvenient but not a show-stopper. I am enjoying the questline and the new creatures. I tip my hat to you for the quality of the characters and their use. Also new reagents are a big plus - I like leveling my alchemy with new ingredients and getting new affects. I would like to see new books, new radiant quests, possibly some skill bonuses or epic-level reward(s) that can be added to my collection room. Who doesn't like showing off their bling?

Overall I have to give you a solid 8 out of 10. The quality of your mod is far superior to most and you should be PROUD of your effort. A few things can definitely make this a 10/10, plus future additions of radiant quests or enviornmental addons through continuous patching can keep life flowing into this mod - aka Reasons for the player to keep coming back and experience new things.

Message me directly if you would like more detailed feedback. Have a great day.
