How do I control the first-person view?

I want to change the C_Hand and weapon models in the first person view. Is that possible?

make a new group instead of connecting it to your player model you connect it to view_model

Wondering, how do you connect the group to "view_model"? My attempts at trying to do so only resulted in it either not working, or making anything in the group become hidden
