3.0.1 - Linear tech progression

Features:

Event triggers have been added to guarantee availability of tech options you have researched the prerequisites, creating a predictable research tree. This gives the ability to research specific technology lines for a less random feel to progression.

This mod only effects base/ vanilla technologies.

Linear tech progression is not used by AI.

I have created a tool to make mods for additional techs using this design. It is still a work in progress but is 90% working. Feel free to use it, fork it, ect. https://github.com/theexec/stellaris-parser

@Jessy2299 The game crash when loading if I change the "NUM_TECH_ALTERNATIVES", how you can do that without crash?

Found a way to make all technologie you can researsh appear. Simply edit in "00_defines.txt" the line call : NUM_TECH_ALTERNATIVES = 3 to NUM_TECH_ALTERNATIVES = 99 and you will now alway see every available tech you can research.

This should be in the base game. I hate the fact that the tech are random and not an actual tech tree where you choose what to research. If only the AI would use this too... Feel pretty unfaire and unbalance because of that.

@Sempire, It is not possible to make the linear tech cost more without also overriding all the vanilla technology files. If you want to do it, I would be happy to explain how you might go about it. I am happy with the mod the way it is and do not intend to make that change.
