Pora's Simple Combat

Описание

A mod which changes the slightly insane number of tactics in CKII to a much
more managable six, which grant universal bonuses/debuffs.

The current tactics are, in order of worst to best;

Incompetent -35% combat ability
Leaderless -15% combat ability
Standard 0% combat ability
Innovative 15% combat ability
Brilliant 25% combat ability
Masterful 45% combat ability

Each commander has a martial based chance to select from these tactic tiers during melee and skirmish. Incredibly low martial commands will more likely hit negitive effects and never see the higher end, and 16-20+ martial commanders can consistantly hit the higher end of the spectrum.

Say hello to 6/6 EUIV generals, CKII style.

So this mod makes warfare just like EU4 eh? No more outnumbered advantage

Ah, I wish you luck on future mod download attempts then. Steam workshop black magic can be hard to work around

I would...except the wretched thing didn't download. Oh well.

@tolaburke
My main line of reasoning for the balance was to have it rely more heavily on the actual troop stats during different phases rather than the tactics. I haven't had too much time to actually play test the balancing issue due to being in Cali. on a vacation, but please do tell if the difference in unit stats through the phases isn't enough to keep a good feel to it.

Boosts the general effectiveness of cuture and religion and the troop mastery traits.

Will play merry hell on the Mongols/Altaics(Horse Archers aren't foul in Skirmish, but the power of the Mongols was in 'breaking the rules' by switching phase back to Skirmish from Melee). Their light and heavy cavalry will have to do the job, if any.

Be damm sure to consolidate your troops, or make sure you have enough good commanders to command the flanks.

Seems interesting to mess around with, but I wonder at what it would do to army composition.
