Make all Items Available & Remove Unused Upgrades

47 items
Description
!!! For Long War 2 Only !!!
Compatibility with Grimy's Loot-Mod not tested! Try the "Ignore Named Items" function if you are brave and want to test!

This quality of life mod adds two buttons to the Squad-Select screen:

Make all Items Available
- Removes Equipment from all Barracks-Soldiers not in the current Squad-Select screen. This button basically combines the functions of the three "Make xxx available"-buttons, leading to less clicking.

Make Upgrades Available
- Removes Upgrades (Weapon Mods) from Equipment that is not used by any soldier.

Ideally you want to click "Make all Items Available" first to free up your equipment, and than use "Make Upgrades Available".

Make Items and Upgrades Available
- optional
- combines the functions of both aforementioned buttons

Additional Option: Ignore Named Items
- if you want to exclude some weapons from the "remove upgrades" function of this mod, give them names and check this option

Additional Option: Ignore Secondary QWeapons/ Named Weapons when making Items available
- if you want a specific soldier to keep his very special weapons, you can now use these requested features to do so.

This mod uses the Pavonis/LongWar-style mod options menu. You can edit the mod options ingame, they get saved to your ongoing savegame. If you start a new game, all options will be reset. You can modify the default options in the mods .ini file (if you dont want to set up the options each time you start a new campaign). Take note: ini files get overwritten via steam autoupdate.

Note:
Pavonis has stated that they will implement a similar feature down the road. However this may take weeks or months, until then you have this mod ;).

On Bugs/Bug Reports
I am using this mod in my own campaign, and since I fixed some initial nasty bugs that lead to disappearing items, I didnt notice anything further (at least nothing serious). However I am only a simple modder, and I make mistakes. If you think you noticed a bug, it would be extremely helpful if you can provide a savegame (ideally right before the bug appears).

Is there a vanilla game version of this mod?

Just fired up XCOM2 again after a couple of months away and it fails to start because of three mods including this one (FYI other two are stop wasting my time - legacy and true concealment for lw2). Any ideas?

@prokolyo

Um, this says that it's compatible with LW2?

Are weapon upgrades removable in LW2? Cause they are permanent in vanilla...

Also looking for WOTC mod that does this. Other mods i have to remove the upgrades manually which is time consuming

@Ser Lancelot:
This is for LW 2.

Or do you have to start a new game instead of in the middle?

Guessing this doesn't work with WotC?

Ok, I've been loking for a while and on first glance this mod here appeared to be what I was looking for, but before I get it wrong:

It can only strip secondary weapons from soldiers, not upgrades from secondary weapons that are currently equipped, correct?
