Age of Vikings (1.1)

Description
By the 9th century, the Norse raiders and adventurers known as the Vikings had already begun to set their indelible mark on the map of Europe, establishing realms in Russia and the British Isles and traveling and raiding as far as the Black Sea and the Mediterranean. The Carolingian rulers, descendants of Charlemagne, ruled mighty realms in France, Germany, and Italy while the Muslim religion was now firmly established in Spain under the Umayyads.



About this content
The Age of Vikings mod is a total overhaul mod for the "Age of Charlemagne Campaign DLC", the mod tries to be as historical as possible but also has some slight influences from the "Vikings" and "The Last Kingdom" TV series.
This Mod contains:
  • New totally overhauled historical Campaign (AoC Dlc Required).
  • New factions and Characters.
  • Over 100 new and unique units.
  • New Traits and Edicts.
  • Kingdom missions and events for all playable factions.

Hello friends, what difficulty level has the mod been balanced around?
Not all mods work well on all difficulty levels. Can I play the campaign on Very Hard and the battle difficulty on Normal? I've read that higher battle difficulties are basically just the AI cheating.

you can't mod ai in tw games, its hard coded

There are mods that can make AI cheat more, and agression
And nothing for battles

can i ask if yo9u changed the battle or campaign ai at all? I do'nt like the battle ai being made smarter as in other mods thye have perfectly countered from battle start my hidden units i thought were safe for a couple minutes. aka having x ray vision. personally as someone who doesnt want to manually fight every battle and tryhard 24/7 i prefer the vanilla ai being left alone so it can be adjusted to suit via difficulty setting.

can i use unit packs to play the AD768 grand campaign mod that takes all the AoC factions and puts them to the grand campaign, is there unit mods i can use for that from this mod? nothing against this mod its just a scope thing

One of the best mod for Attila, I played all faction with additional mods for units and works perfectly. So i really recommended and many thanks for authors of amazing mod. Well done.:steamthumbsup:
